I post information to my Facebook page frequently and send emails to friends regarding where to find information about candidates, making sure they know the date of the primary and fall elections and the importance of their vote! I'm encouraging my friends to learn more about all candidates and actively support the people for whom they plan to vote. I attended and voted in the FCTP Straw Poll (an excellent event, by the way!) and will be voting at the Hob Nob Straw Poll on Thursday too, encouraging everyone to do the same. Knowledge and participation are the keys.
I send out my own mailing of candidate information to friends in Duval Co., since I am a resident of SJC. I just want to make sure that people are informed/educated on candidates. I have received word back from some of these mailings that people have made an effort to get to know the candidate and have sent in donations.
I do share information on candidates in SJC, as well. I have found that a candidate's position on Common Core is asked frequently.
It is helpful to know when candidates are having events and/or "meet and greets," as we can send the information along, too. I agree with Patsy, bravo to the elections team for their tireless work on pulling so much together so that we can get the word out in support of their efforts!
I have postcards printed for those of you who would like to mail postcards for Ryman. I'm printing them at no charge. Just comment back and we can arrange for you to get more. I'll try to get some at the FCTP office by Wednesday of this week so you can go by there to pick them up, too. They will be on the Election Table.
I totally agree with Sabrina that name recognition is the name of the game.
thanks to Beth and her team for getting the word out on dates and all the hard work they did to put on the Straw Poll.
Hi Gang, I set up at Flea Markets, lots of action.WE CAN DO THIS!!!!
Here's what I've done.
In the hope of ascertaining the attitude and intent of those who would represent the citizens of the Great State of Florida, The Republic of Florida Voter Guide 2014 is now officially online.
Questions chosen for their application in six key areas of immediate political concern have been mailed to over 300 candidates for partisan political office in Tallahassee. In time for the August primary, the results will allow our voters to better understand the loyalty of our would-be leaders. Responses are posted as they are received. Early on, the following districts/counties have reported.

Encourage your favourite candidates as well as their opponents to participate. Northeast Florida should be represented.
We need to know who will protect the sovereignty of our beloved Florida and her citizens.
I ask every car parked next to mine at the gas station if they are a registered Republican and if so - they get a palm card! I've made phone calls, walked neighborhoods and had meet and greets in my home. Last night I saw a tea party member waving a huge sign at the corner of Penman Rd and Beach Blvd. If you know who that was, please let me know so I can join him! Name recognition is the name of the game.
A number of my grandchildren and their friends set a goal to hand out palm cards--yard signs in our prect # 1302---1532 registered Republicans in 928 homes--We started 3 weeks ago to those who had requested absentee ballots --138 ---Since then we have delivered 430 more and by August 17th will have hit every one. Its hot--its hard but dammit we must get Ryman's story in everyone's hands..I feel more confident than ever we are going to win.
Hi Beth, Thanks for the information. I am real good at forgetting dates.

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
