Suzanne, I need your help!!! I know you're on the Betsy Ross team. Can you help me with the flag we're working on. I'm having logistical problems and Carole recommended I contact you. Of course this is for Saturday...yikes! What do you say???? Thanks!

Hi Suzanne - I just wanted to make sure you remember the Keep God In America Rally Sunday March 28 @ Metro Park, 12:30 - 4:00. The organizers are asking for Betsy Ross! Let me know gaylareed@carrolltile.com. Thanks!

Suzanne -- I'm so computer illiterate, you might never hear from me again. Please don't think I've lost interest. I'm not into designing quilt tops nor borders nor machine stitching, but if I can hand quilt something, I'd love to. We had basements back in St. Louis, and you could leave your frame downstairs with your quilt in it to work on which was great. I left my boards in St. Louis, but still have my C-clamps which are useless here, unfortunately, unless we have a place to work on a quilt. Let me know if I can help with anything or when your next meeting is. Thanks. Jean Winters

Suzanne -- I can get your messages, but can't figure out how to send you one. I don't understand computer lingo and procedures and this "ning" thing. I just e-mailed you a message, but it disappeared when I tried to send it. Since we can't set up a quilt frame to work on a quilt to raffle off, I'll try to find a patriotic pattern of something to quilt on at home. Hope you get this. Jean Winters

Hope you like the ribbon, I'm not sure how the gift thing works. There was a message you didn't have one. So here is atleast one for you.

Suzanne -- I do not machine sew quilt blocks. I only hand quilt. If someone puts a quilt TOP (no blocks like log cabin pattern with a lot of seams though) together for me, I could hand stitch it on a small portable quilt frame I have. I have a piece of plain navy blue cotton (roughly 54"x60") perfect for a backing for a red, white, and blue patriotic top. Maybe I can find a print pattern with a patriotic theme already on it that I could quilt. I'll look . Jean Winters

Suzanne -- The navy blue cut-up sheet (used and washed) is not that generous, but probably good enough for little pieces on quilt squares. It's the right color. I cut it up for backing on a lap robe I'm doing for a 4th of July rally merchandise table. I assume there will be a Tea Party event on the 4th. But it's not worth the gas to get it....even if we met half way....unless we're both in the same area doing errands. Where are you located? I go out Butler a lot, Beach Blvd/Atlantic Blvd too and also towards the Avenues. Jean

I was shocked to see how much more you have done since last year's rally. While I've been dillydallying around, looking to get involved, you've taken the bull by the horns and made it happen. I'm compelled to follow suit!
I didn't recognize you immediately in your Betsy Ross outfit, but when they announced your name as a speaker, my enthusiasm level went up another notch! You're words were welcome and well presented. Bravo to you and all that you are doing! Keep up the good work.

Suzanne -- It was wonderful talking to you at the Open House Saturday. And I'm sorry I missed you at the Gun Show. Hope I can chit chat with you again to learn more about your Service which helps me out with my "adoptee." In fact, I e-mailed him about you and what a help you were to me. Now for my lap robe decision. In scorching heat in July, no one is interested in a lap robe so I'll pack it away and haul it out for some Tea Party Event in the Fall or Winter. If it doesn't sell then, it will go to the VA Hospital.

Suzanne -- I'm so sorry to have to miss the Betsy Ross meeting at the FCTP office on June 24. I'll be out of town all that week. Will you let me know when you'll be at the office sometime after that so I can run over to see you, bring stuff and catch up? Thanks.
