OBP (Obama, Biden and Pelosi) chalk it up as proof, that we're the crazy ones, that "we just don't get it."
The pork barrell stops here and now.
Let's pass an amendment limiting Obama family excursions to a mere $2000, like most middle income families. We (the US citizens) will gladly pick up the tab for the secret service,
The last time Obummer went to China, things didn't work out particularly well for the US. They pretty much told Obamma that we WOULD go to on world currency, that we are to give up our Gold Standard.
As it is apparent that he seeks to dismantle our free-enterprise system (capitalism), watch for him to step out of his bounds, or at least try to.
As he travels througout the world, dishonoring the traditions of friends, bowing to Islamic leaders but not to the Queen of England (figurehead), a great ally. Not well received in France and now he sets off to offend the Indian Parlaiment with his teleprompters and only God lknows what else.
Response I received from Senator Bill Nelson (D)
Thank you for contacting me regarding S. 510, the FDA Food Safety Modernization Act.
This legislation would expand the authority of the Secretary of Health and Human Services to regulate food safety by more aggressively inspecting food production facilities and tracking food more closely as it moves through the stream of commerce. Incidents involving tainted tomatoes, spinach, and peanut butter are just a few of the recent examples that demonstrate the need for a more robust food safety inspection system. The bill would not modify the current jurisdictional boundaries between the Food and Drug Administration and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
On November 18, I voted for a procedural motion that allows for S. 510 to be debated in the full Senate. I will keep your views in mind as the Senate considers this legislation.
I appreciate your taking the time to share your views on this issue. Please do not hesitate to contact me again in the future.
Sincerely,
Senator Bill Nelson

Donna, please post this information on the blog. Truly, I really would appreciate it. Many of us were really upset about it. Do you have any additional information you can share?
