As we you know, we are having a Birthday Tea Party on February 27th to celebrate the one year anniversary of the birth of the Tea Party Movement.
We will have the event at Zamar outside on the grounds and we plan to have booths for all groups/teams. Each group/team is responsible for setting up their own booth and must provide everything you need. We would like to see pop up tents for each and if you can, either purchase a cheap one or ask friends or neighbors if you can borrow one. We are encouraging each team to come up with a way to have fun in their booth and hand out information about your team/group. Please provide a sign up sheet for those who want to join your team as well. Of course, if you make it interesting people will stop to see what is going on.
Gayla will send you a form to fill out and send back to us so we can map out the grounds and ensure you have space. We plan to show the tea party movie when it gets dark. If it isn’t too cold, we will do it outside on a blow up screen. IF it turns cold, we will move everyone inside and show it on the screen in Zamar.
We will provide hot dogs and drinks for free and we will encourage they make a donation.
If your booth wants to have food, you can not sell it. You can, however, take donations.
Bring your own lawn chairs for seating and any decorations you need to make it a festive and exciting booth.
The Board will vote on 3 categories and will give an award for each category. The categories will be:
1. The most Unusual booth
2. The most Patriotic booth
3. The most Informative booth
