YOUR SIGNATURE ON YOUR ABSENTEE MUST MATCH

Has your signature changed over the years?  Frequently, this is the case with senior adults and busy adults that sign numerous documents.  If your signature of today does not match your voter registration record and you vote a Florida absentee ballot, your ballot will not count.  You must update your signature with a new Voter Registration Application that is received by your County Supervisor of Elections office by the start of canvassing of absentee ballots. For the Nov 4, 2014 elections, the new application must be in the Supervisor of Elections Office by October 20, 2014.   This Voter Registration Application cannot be Faxed - it must be mailed or delivered with your original signature. 

You can download a Florida Voter Registration at the State website http://election.dos.state.fl.us/candidate/CanList.asp  Check "Record Change" and mail or deliver the completed SIGNED application to the address shown for your County Supervisor of Election  on the second page of the download.   

This only applies to Absentee Ballots.
