It Is Not Politics As Usual Anymore.

Over the last two months NEWSMAX has been pushing McCollum for the Republican candidate for governor. They were pushing hard so I sent them an email stating that they were backing a RINO and I intend to vote for a conservative, Rick Scott. They had stated in an earlier post that Bill McCollum was the only one that could beat the Democrat candidate. In the meantime a number of prominent Republicans lined up behind

McCollum.…

Ladies and Gentlemen: Here is the report. Read it and email this to everyone you know.

Get the word out. The United States of America does not report to the United Nations!!

The "Grandfather" Clause

I recently watched a movie called “Posse” with Mario Van Peebles and all in all, it was a pretty good movie. It was about a group of mostly black cowboys in the late 1800’s “taking care” of the bad guys who they felt had wronged them. They were kind of bad guys too, but at least they were likable. One of the themes running through the movie was “Education Makes You Free.” I thought that was kind of interesting and found it to be especially relevant today. Just before the credits started to…

Congratulations "Insurgent Republicans" !!

It's no exaggeration to say that we have a country to save, and last night was an amazing start! A few weeks back I heard CNN describe Marco Rubio and Rick Scott as "Insurgent Republicans", five minutes after they described Taliban terrorists as "insurgent forces." That tells you what leftists think of us conservatives!

"Insurgent Republicans" Rick Scott (Florida) and Joe Miller (Alaska) highlighted a primary election night that should serve as a…

THESE VOICES DON'T SPEAK FOR US

Last night we watched as the voices of the people were heard from all over Florida.

The best part about living in America is the fact that we do retain power over elitists IF we will engage our power at the polls. For those of you who were able to do so yesterday, you made a difference.

Maybe your candidate won and maybe your candidate lost. We know how it feels to win and lose and, of course, people like to be on the winning side. At this point, we are hopeful…

Living off of unemployment "living the dream"?

From my blog at http://theatleeappeal.com

As most of you who have been following this site now for at least the last couple of weeks know, I moved into a new apartment complex on the outskirts of downtown Buckhead a couple weeks ago. I got back to my apartment last night after a great weekend being home in Jacksonville, FL. One of my buds said, "Atlee, I've got something to tell you that I heard at the pool today." I'm hoping to hear…

TODAY'S THE DAY: GO TO THE POLLS AND VOTE

Why Vote?

You think your one vote will not make a difference. If you take that thought and multiply it by hundreds who are thinking like you - it does make a difference. A big difference.

So Why Vote?

It seals your status as a citizen; it’s what citizens do. Politics is about shaping society so that the people within it can flourish.

As you drive down the streets of North…

Here's Hope and Change that I Can Embrace!!

Today is the first step in taking back America from the moochers, the looters, and the just plain, old, apathetic. Our primary election here in the state of Florida is the first of three that will determine the fate of our great republic. The mid terms in November and the general election of 2012 will indicate whether America desires to remain a republic of free people who are represented…

All Things Political!

I am new to this political stuff. I've been a voter since I became eligible to vote and tried to keep up with the candidate that stood for the same values I did. But, I became involved in the tea party movement when I learned about the push for socialized medicine. The more I read about it the more frustrated and mad I became until I was at the "explosion" point. The First Coast Tea Party was my way to vent, to learn ways to make a difference and get educated on what was happening in… Continue

THIS TUESDAY: PRIMARY IN FLORIDA -- THROW THE BUMS OUT

History shows that most people sit out the primaries and wait for the big Election Day in November. The problem with that thought -- you are allowing everyone else to decide who gets on the November ballot. You are smarter than that so don’t let it happen this time. Decide who you want on the…

Yet another Soros tentacle exposed

August 22, 2010

Thomas Lifson Jim Wallis, the man behind the so-called "religious left" - a left wing evangelical activist who worked to get evangelical support for Obama -- has been exposed as another stooge of George Soros. And he had the gall to accuse Marvin Olasky, the conservative evangelical who asked…

One percent transaction tax is proposed

President Obama's finance team is recommending a transaction tax. His plan is to sneak it in after the November election to keep it under the radar. This is a 1% tax on all transactions at any financial institution I. e. Banks, Credit Unions, etc.. Any deposit you make, or move around within your account, I. e. transfer to, will have…

Thank you for all the Support for Tyler!

The turn out for Tyler was amazing! He and his family were overwhelmed with the support from people that they have never met! Tyler was grinning ear to ear as he entered Florida and saw a thousand bikes waiting to escort him home. Thank you to everyone that took the time to support our local Hero.

Welcoming home Tyler Southern

Despite the hot temperatures citizens from all over Jacksonville stood, side by side, along the welcome home route for Tyler Southern; a deeply emotional, yet at the same time inspirational

experience.

Americans wake each day and commence their routines with little or no thought as to the cost of this privilege. Today was an opportunity for both recognizing the cost of freedom and paying tribute to those who have made the…

Collectivism vs the Individual

from my blog at http://theatleeappeal.com

Kirsten Powers is a liberal contributor to Fox News and she was interviewed by AOL’s Matt Lewis this week. Matt asked Kirsten how her faith has shaped her politics. Fair question. Her answer was the quintessential foundation of modern-day liberalism: “I also now see humanity as totally interconnected and am completely anti-individualism. It’s sad that Americans believe that individualism is…

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
