To all First Coast Tea Party Members: We had high hopes that Bart Stupak would stand firm and vote No for the healthcare bill. This will not hold up in court and Executive Orders can not supercede legislation.
We were discouraged for about an hour and we came back to the hotel to freshen up and listen…

Along with 40 or 50,000 of my closest friends, we rocked the House of Represenatives today! Starting at noon on the West Lawn, we could be heard by the legislators inside as we listened to speakers that included John Voight and President Obama's own second cousin who is a physician. Several congressmen who spoke commented that we could be clearly heard inside when we chanted "Kill the Bill!" At 2:30 we moved to the House Office Buildings where the chanting continued as congressmen crossed…

Good news:
A key House Dem has begun informing party leaders he plans to vote against health care legislation both on the House floor and in the rules committee, on which he sits. Rep. Michael Arcuri (D-NY), a sophomore Dem who had a tougher-than-expected re-election bid in '08, has told the Dem caucus he will vote against the…

We have sent you to Code Red website to keep abreast of Yes and No votes on the healthcare bill. Yesterday, Code Red moved two California Congressmen to the Yes section.
Months ago, the First Coast Tea Party supported the efforts of the California farmer who was under attack by the government. The Federal government had turned off the farmers' water and instead protected a fish the size…

I admit it, I was ready to give up this week - as I kept trying to call and the phone lines were busy, and also hearing about all of the underhanded ways that they are trying to get this through.
I also keep getting emails from the 'my barack obama side' to call my congressman - it's hard not to want to give up! And then I attended last night's FCTP Small Business Meeting and got re-energized.....
Today, an email with this link was in my bx and I thought, what…

In his radio show yesterday, Rush Limbaugh called on all Americans to CALL CONGRESS. This is un-Rush-like and while not everyone agrees with Rush, he is a representative of the people – more so than even our Congress!! Here’s a transcript from his show yesterday:…

We are living in times when we are seeing things we never thought we would see. The US credit rating is at risk of losing our Triple A rating. States can no longer pay their bills without a bailout. Congress intends passing a healthcare bill that will bankrupt the country and all of our children and grandchildren in the process.…

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
