Good morning!
We spent last week wondering if we would be hit by Hurricane Dorian. Thankfully we were spared. However, the Bahamas were not so lucky. I am sure you have seen the devastation there.
My daughter has a friend (a nurse) who is arranging multiple trips to the area and will be collecting supplies to take to those areas. If you would like to help, we will collect things at…

Federal judge orders bilingual ballots for Florida counties, including Lake and Brevard
- By Steven Lemongello 11 April 2019
"The order by U.S. District Judge Mark Walker comes in response to a lawsuit by LatinoJustice and other organizations that claimed as many as 30,000 Puerto Ricans were having their rights violated by counties not providing bilingual ballot access. The order grants a preliminary injunction that requires Florida Secretary of State Laurel Lee and the 32…

The next 2 days are critical for protecting the rule of law in our state!
Please urge everyone to contact the below lawmakers NOW (no, we cannot wait) about the FL Legislature 2019 FL Sanctuary City Law. It prohibits cities in Florida from declaring sanctuary status for illegal aliens and requires local law enforcement to cooperate with federal immigration…

Unless you are very wealthy and can fund your own campaign, in order to succeed as a candidate, you must raise funds. Events, mailing campaigns, printing, signage, advertisements, etc. all add up to huge expenses. If you've received enough signatures, you won't need funds to qualify. However, if you fall short, in order to be a candidate you must pay the amount for postitions listed in the previous blog.
A common misconception about political fundraising is that it…

Petitions need to be signed for candidates that run in order for them to qualify. THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU ARE VOTING FOR THIS PERSON. BUT, if only one candidate gets enough petitions signed, we will see only one candidate on the ballot. We need choices! FCTP cannot stand behind any one candidate, but we can help get good conservatives on the ballot.

Babs,
Late last June, had a fall and dislocated my right shoulder. Four days later, my son kidnapped me (sic) and relocated me to North Carolina and established the followup medical requirements including Physical Therapy. I sold my home in Jacksonville and bought a home here. My son is a retired Marine. Obviously, I've been among the missing at FCTP meetings and events, but my heart is still with all. I did cast my last vote in Florida for Rick Scott and Ron DeSantis and held my…

Does anyone know of resources to check out Judges? I can usually find information on most candidates except judges local elections, such as the Soil & Water Conservation District. Any help would be appreciated?

Seems like it won't matter at that level? Well, it starts at this level of government where folks start their political career and affect our lives in ways we may not see. Here's one of the candidates sounding off:

A warning regarding all amendments.
My plan is to vote no on any amendment that contains a feature I do not like. Even if said amendment has lots of things I like.
Please remember that if an amendment like that passes, it will take another super majority approval to attempt to later back out the ugly items you just approved, if it can ever be repealed at all. It is best…

Just telling Tea Party supporters to vote is not enough. DeSantis needs to STOP his very weak TV ads and take the offensive, ATTACK, ATTACK, ATTACK. No battle has ever been won on defense, but in a very aggressive, constant and strong OFFENSE. DeSantis needs to dig up some dirt on Gillum and expose it every chance he gets. DeSantis should NOT call Gillum a Socialist, but a COMMUNIST and Castro and Obama supporter. DeSantis campaign slogan should be the…
