This is information I received from JBS today in an Email and am posting it because this is a very serious situation and agree we need to stop this.  There are other ways to handle what needs to be done to add a balanced budget amendment without calling a constitutional convention which could be highjacked by the 20% of this country who are progressives.  Consider writing to your state representatives and senator.

An administrative law judge in Georgia could decide as early as this week whether voters in the state convinced him Barack Obama’s name should be removed…

I have the greatest respect for Thomas Sowell and have followed him for a long time, because he has something sorely lacking in our country today; common sense.  He writes wonderful commentary and is true blue conservative in his stances.  He is a very smart man and when he speaks, we should pay attention.  I suggest you read what he has to say as it may surprise you!

I am hard pressed to understand why the city subsidizes many of the other things they do when we can't even cover city services with tax dollars and expect people to pay extra for the primary function of city government.  This is nothing more than our local government picking winners and losers just like the federal government does with our tax dollars (and none to carefully either I might add).  If you leave it alone, the people will chose those entities they wish to have…

Nice to know Michelle Obama is pumping money into the economy..........but it isn't the US economy which seems to run in the Obama family.

New regulations are having the impact on us locally as this article in the Times Union indicates, and now they are trying to change the rules right in the middle of things after some of these folks have invested money.  This is exactly what might be expected of folks who have never run a business or had a job anywhere.  They think you can do something like this, and people who own and run businesses will just take a hit and come back for more.

Interesting as conservatives are in the lead when you combine the 3 conservative candidates polling numbers, they are 1 point higher than Romney's polling number on at least one poll, but because the vote is split, we will end up with the establishment pick, and we can all hold our noses when November rolls around!  Let's hope Mr. Romney isn't pulling an Obama on us and lying about where he stands on the issues to get elected.

This may be an area where our focus to register voters may need to go.  I suspect if this is actually true, we might get the school to let us set up a table for the purpose of giving out the registration forms along with a postage paid, addressed envelope????  Certainly worth thinking about.
