After 9/11, there was a call out from our leaders to reach out to the Muslim community. It was important that those who murdered 3,000 American citizens were known as radicals from Islam and not the average people of the Muslim community. We made great efforts to include them in ceremonies and President Bush even went to a Mosque one week later on 9/17. He brought them this message:
“…America counts millions of Muslims amongst our citizens, and Muslims make an incredibly valuable contribution to our country.
The Muslims are doctors, lawyers, law professors, members of the military, entrepreneurs, shopkeepers, moms and dads, and they need to be treated with respect.
In our anger and emotion, our fellow Americans must treat each other with respect. Women who cover their heads in this country must feel comfortable going outside their homes. Moms who wear covering must not be intimidated in America. That's not the America I know; that's not the America I value.
I've been told that some fear to leave; some don't want to go shopping for their families; some don't want to go about their ordinary daily routines because, by wearing cover, they're afraid they'll be intimidated. That should not and that will not stand in America.
Those who feel like they can intimidate our fellow citizens to take out their anger don't represent the best of America. They represent the worst of humankind. And they should be ashamed of that kind of behavior….”
Ten years later another President and his Vice President could easily step up to the plate and condemn those who treat Tea Party Members as terrorists. But instead, they are leading the way with calling their fellow citizens names and spewing words of hate towards them. At two separate Labor Day events yesterday, Jimmy Hoffa, the head of the Teamsters spoke just before President Obama. His speech was aimed at the Tea Party Members and ended with “Take these Sons of bitches out!” Hear his speech here: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/09/05/hoffa-on-tea-party-take-...
When President Obama came on stage after this speech, he told the crowd how proud he was of Hoffa. He never asked that Hoffa tone down his anger. Hear his speech here: http://www.breitbart.tv/obama-gop-needs-to-put-country-before-party...
In another rally with the AFL-CIO, Vice President Biden, continued the verbal assault against Tea Party Members by calling us “barbarians.” Hear his speech here: http://www.breitbart.tv/biden-fires-up-afl-cio-you-are-the-only-fol...
It is incredibly sad to live under the leadership of such hateful, fear mongering men. It is incredibly rewarding to know that our Founding Fathers knew men just like these and set in place a Constitution to remove them from office.
As we approach 9/11 ceremonies, let us remember this - Radical Muslim extremists did attack our country and we do not hold peace-loving Muslims responsible for those attacks.
As we approach November 2012 elections, let us remember this - Tea Party Members are trying to save our country from further financial attacks of childish and immature leaders in DC. We are not barbarians.
As we approach the 9/12 Presidential Tea Party Debate next week in Tampa – Tea Party Members are hoping that our new President is on that stage and he or she will take the speech of President Bush and rewrite it on behalf of the good people of the Tea Party Movement. It could go something like this…
“America counts millions of TEA PARTY MEMBERS amongst our citizens, and TEA PARTY MEMBERS make an incredibly valuable contribution to our country.
The TEA PARTY MEMBERS are doctors, lawyers, law professors, members of the military, entrepreneurs, shopkeepers, moms and dads, and they need to be treated with respect.
In our anger and emotion, our fellow Americans must treat each other with respect. CONSERVATIVE WOMEN WHO RUN FOR OFFICE must feel comfortable. Moms who STAND UP TO SCHOOL BOARDS AND CITY COUNCILS MUST NOT BE intimidated in America. That's not the America I know; that's not the America I value.
I've been told that some fear to SHOW UP AT A RALLY; some don't want to go TO THE FAIR with their families; some don't want to go about their ordinary daily routines because, by wearing TEA PARTY T-SHIRTS, they're afraid they'll be intimidated OR A MOB WILL ATTACK THEM. That should not and that will not stand in America.
Those who feel like they can intimidate our fellow citizens to take out their anger don't represent the best of America. They represent the worst of humankind. And they should be ashamed of that kind of behavior….”
As you head back to work, we encourage you to reach out in love to your fellow man and work towards peace and understanding. Let it begin with you.
May God bless the family members of 9/11 who lost their loved ones at the hands of radical extremists. May He also bless the members of the Tea Party Movement. Thank you for having the courage to stand up for America.

Billie, In this case you might be wrong. The majority here seem to believe that ALL Muslims believe that the actions taken by the hijackers on 9/11 was not only commendable, but righteous.
I too think that this is the opinion held by most in the Tea Party, certainly otherwise there would have no reason to oppose what local government in NYC approved in allowing the construction of the mosque in lower Manhatten.
I say this all the time, no one else ever defines me, so no amount of name calling hurts my feelings. Though it does diminish your argument every time you resort to using names as a means of conveying thought. All broad generalizations are easy prey to those who seek to make an effective argument. In debate societies, you do not which side of the debate you will be compelled to defend. So you prepare to make either side of the debate. It strengthens your ability to make an argument and defend your position. It is the most glaring weakness I find in the Tea Party, the inablility to defend postions sans name calling. An effective argument it seems to me would lend itself to a more widely accepted support. The point isn't to define our differences, but to narrow them.
I could care less what Hoffa, Waters, Schulz , or anyone else calls me. I certainly don't expect an apology. And let's not kid ourselves -- i'm sure we could find plenty of nasty things said about Obama, democrats and liberals on this website and certainly said by conservative politicians. If we can dish it out, we should be able to take it. We need to stay focused on the task at hand, which is figuring out which of these people will best take the beliefs of small government and balanced budgets to Washington. I'm looking forward to the debates to see who that person will be.
I would like to know if this guy took classes to become a dipstick and a moron, or does he come by it naturally? What a garbage mouth. He needs a little soap in his mouth. He shows some real leadership. What else can you expect from a liberal?
My dad told each of his 6 children, "You will be judged by those who you associate with"! We know Obama's associates, so don't be manipulated by his or his associate's words. My dad also told us, "those who are vile and demean with words desire to bring you down to their level". "Give no human, but only God the power to do so". "Have pity and pray for those who persecute you". "The have no power to control you will be in vain". "You will have found true Peace".
Sadly, the President and his associates are to be pitied, so I will pray for all TEA PARTY members to be "raised up" in large numbers to vote for "Amer-I-Can Peace" in 2012. I pray that God will help them to find their own peace after this administration is defeated!!!!
Thank God for my father who came to the United States all alone at 10 years of age. He lost 2 brothers and a sister due to starvation, passed the test to become a US citizen, raised 6 children on a dairy farmer because he promised God none of his children would be hungry. God Bless those who "lifted others up".
If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
