Florida must reclaim her sovereignty. Contact the members of the Florida Senate Judiciary Committee on the following pending legislation. Here's a sample of what to say to committee members.
SB1528 - Commission on Federalism - sponsored by Senator Greg Evers is currently being debated by the Florida Senate and is now in the Judiciary Committee..
This bill will create a commission which may evaluate whether certain federal laws are authorized by any of the express enumerated powers of the United States Constitution or violate the principle of federalism.
It is appropriate to the protection of the sovereignty of Florida that this oversight is provided by our Legislature and the creation of this Committee will assure a move in that direction. Please bring this important legislation to the floor for a favorable vote.

This is government expanding it'self and authorizing additional payment for doing what they should already be doing as State Legislators and as citizens of the U.S.
More talk.....More spending.....No action......
Y'all are right about the duty of our Legislature and creating this committee is a step in that direction.
This is not a "law" per se. The Committee can only be formed under statuary rule, hence hence the bill must be passed to create the same. It has no enforcement powers but will evaluate federal laws as to their legality in reference to its constitutionality and the sovereignty of Florida and report to the Legislature and Governor for their action..

Franklin is right, that should be their main job is protecting our state sovereignty and the people of Florida, not to enforce any law that would hurt either.
Is the U.S. Constitution not clear enough for them already? Now, they need a special law creating a commission to determine what the Constitution says. Article one and the 10th amendment is clear on Federal powers and States Rights and area of responsibility.
This is more political game playing and adding unnecessary laws.
Do they need a law telling them to read, uphold, obey and abide by the U.S. Constitution?
Article one and the 10th amendment are clear on this. They need to confront our Statist Federal government about upholding, obeying and enforcing the U.S. Constitution rather than just have more discussion about it.
Governors and State legislators have allowed the Federal government to move in a take over their jobs for about 100 years. FDR's New Deal, JFK's New Frontier, LBJ's Great Society...Now, obama's Hope & Change.
The residents of every State should be demanding their Governor, State Legislators and local governments take their jobs back from the Federal government and do the job handed to them by the Constitution.
State governments have been shirking their jobs and responsibility.
If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
