Mr. Ogletree I will find everything when I get home and post it here.  As far as his tax plan yes you are right the government can, and does, frequently screw with the tax code to get what they want.  That is the point right now all they have to screw with is the personal and corporate tax rates and with his 9-9-9 plan he will also have consumption tax.  I don't think any tax plan is real unless it starts with the repeal of the 16th amendment.  I actually like the idea of a consumption tax just not when mixed with income tax.

As far as Crenshaw and my corn flakes.  I dislike the idea of any revenue increases especially when used by themselves to control the deficit.

All this talk about increasing revenue is crap if they got people back to work revenues would increase by themselves.  We need spending cuts not to fiddle with the tax code.  The only one that has proposed real spending cuts is Ron Paul and for a group that is all about fiscal policy I don't understand how Ron Paul doesn't get more love in this group.  I know his views on foreign policy scare people but this group is about fiscal policy and as you say getting government out of our life and that is all that Ron Paul talks about but still he is demonized by people in this group all the time.

I know that one man is not going to change it by himself and you are right we need to keep an eye on all of them and when they get too comfortable they should be kicked out.  Right now though we are trying to get Obama out.  I'm all for having a conversation about all of the other non-liberty loving people in Congress but there isn't enough space for all of that.

Mr. Ogletree the fact that they were settled out of court means that there is no docket number but that still doesn't change that these things did happen even by Mr. Cain's own words he was involved in two sexual harassment suits.  I'm not sure how the fact that they didn't go to trial changes that there where two suits alleging Mr. Cain sexually harassed two women.  I don't know if the wording changes since they didn't go to trial but I don't see how that matters.

I can see that you like Herman Cain and from the looks of it you will defend him till the end on this.  I think this will end up being a bump in the road for him but that doesn't change that a lot of other things about him scare me almost as much as Obama scares me.  Especially his view on the Fed and lack of knowledge on foreign policy.

I don't think Romney will be elected in the end he can't get above 30% in any poll and I don't think he is going to gain anymore support and that is not going to be enough to win.  I think either Cain, Newt, or Ron Paul will end up winning.

Steve,

I would love to meet with you to discuss those items you cite in addition to learning of your context and sources for each.  BTW, what is there with any other tax plan, including the one we suffer under now, prevents the government from doing the same thing to them?  The Tea Party movement was founded to get the government out of our lives.  I believe EVERY Republican should be challenged in every primary because the majority of the ones we have there now are just not makin' it now are they?

Just to make a point, Ander Crenshaw is one of the 40 Republicans to sign a letter to the "Gang of 12" Commission agreeing to revenue increases as a means to get control over the rising debt and deficits.  How does that go with your Corn Flakes?

If we are going to look to just one man at the helm to magically wave his hand and make everything alright, that is incredibly foolish.  He can propose a plan but it is the Congress that facilitates any public policy.  If you are so concerned about Congress screwing everything up, lets start by primarying Ander Crenshaw who was also a signer to the stupid Food Safety Bill.  Until We The People get serious about weeding out the PPC Pool, we are just kidding ourselves.

I don't mean Politico.  You must have missed the bit about 2 witnesses during the time frame who were there on the group outing from the office saw Cain get into a car with an apparently drunk woman from the office and she woke up "alive" in Cain's apartment?  Conjecture.  The word allegedly is used repeatedly and the problem is it doesn't matter any more cause this thing has taken on a life all of it's own exclusive of anything that passes for what really happened or didn't happen.  And thanks, but no thank Ron, I am not going to equate this with the Clinton debacle.  Clinton left a trail of sexual excapades that covered pretty much his whole political career and he skated free............Herman made a few remarks at the office a couple of women didn't like, so he will hang him while frisky Billie gets off scout free.   No comparison really.

[Ron Ogletree] Thanks for reinforcing my points!

"The media did nothing but report that Herman had been involved in two sexual harassment suits when he was the head of the NRA."

So, do you have the docket number on those "law suits" because even the attorney for the one complaintant new refers to it as an agreement as in termination.

Semantics and wording are critical here or did none of you learn anything from the Clinton scandals?

I have seen many sides of the coin. I have personally been the victim of sexual harassment and assault. I have seen people fasely accuse others of sexual harassment and watched how it destroyed much more than it should have. I have known  how people use such issues to get  a payout....In Mr. Cain's situation I can say I was not there and I have no personal knowledge of the situation. I give him benefit of the doubt since it has been since so much time has passed and nothing came out unless he was in the lead. Coincidence that this wasn't brought out earlier since he did run for the Senate in GA??? I think not. But I also remember during the Clinton Sexual Assault cases of the women who actually came foreward and the media said that those issues have nothing to do with Clinton running the country, and told the public to mind their own business. Obama wasn't vetted and the media will exaggerate anything to get their agenda out....

Mr. Ogletree

9-9-9 is nonsense to many people that fear the government having yet another way to tax us and screw with us using the tax code.  Listen to his abortion statements he is all over the map on them.  Sometimes he is for it and sometimes against it.  Sometimes for the government being involved sometimes not.  He didn't know what a neo-con was in an interview.  He wasn't aware that China had nuclear weapons in a recent interview.  His campaign manager is involved in FEC cases involving campaign fundraising.  Everything but the 9-9-9 and his campaign manager are things that he has said. That was what Amanda was talking about.

I would also like to add his views on the federal reserve not having anything to hide.  His support of TARP which was a bad idea to begin with no matter how it was implemented.  His statements right before the financial c lapse that showed he was completely ignorant to what was going to happen in some cases weeks before it happened.

Holly,

So all accounts of anyone connected to Obamacare acknowledge that it was Romneycare that served as the model and it was also the people that put Romneycare together who went to the Whitehouse to counsel with Obama's people.

So you say "We know the GOP is going to nominate Romney, that's just fact. We need to do whatever it takes to put someone on the HIll that is not a socialist."

Well according to that statement it is all over and all of this primary stuff is pointless.  So why is it that you are a part of the FCTP?

BTW Amanda, it looks like having no "political" campaign staff in Iowa or even better in North Dakota is really killing their campaign.  The latest polling out of Iowa shows Cain leading Romney by 15.  Geez, that is sure killing his candidacy! (Romney is third in ND with Newt second)

Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory is not the way to go through life people.

The media did nothing but report that Herman had been involved in two sexual harassment suits when he was the head of the NRA.  Those claims have been substantiated by Mr. Cain himself and are all true so how is the media at fault.  No one in the media has said he was guilty of these things just that the events did happen.  I don't see how that is not important information to know about the man could potentially be leading the country.  For people that complained so much about Obama not getting properly vetted to now be saying that they are vetting Mr. Cain to much seems to be hypocritical to me.  I agree Obama wasn't vetted but that doesn't mean we should make the same mistake again.  What if he isn't vetted now and he gets the nomination and then Obama finds out about all of this stuff and we lose because of it.  I would rather it come out now then later on when we have no other choices.

I think he is a weak nominee for President myself and these allegations don't change that but I know most in here think he would make a great President.  At best he would make a better President then Obama but that isn't saying much my five year old would be better then Obama.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
