Today is the deadline for Governor Scott to tell the Federal government that if they want to set up the Obama-care “Exchange” in Florida, the Feds will have to do it, because the State of Florida will take on this financial burden.
Florida’s Governor Rick Scott was one of the loudest critics of President Obama’s ‘Obama-care’ healthcare law, and during his campaign for governor; Scott vowed to do everything in his power to prevent the ominous job-killing law from being implemented in the state of Florida.
Governor Scott reiterated his position in complete opposition to Obama-care to all of us in Central Florida when he appeared as the keynote speaker for the April 15th 4th Annual Tax Day Tea Party Event this spring.
To date, 26 states have already told the Feds that if they want an Obama-care exchange in their state, that the Feds will have to be responsible for setting up this primary component of Obama’s first term centerpiece legislation.
Has Governor Scott flip flopped on his conservative principles and values?
Will Governor Scott (and the Florida legislature) stand up to the intimidation of Obama and the Federal government?
Will Governor Scott do as he promised when he sought our conservative votes in the battle to win his election?
Or, will he (and the Florida legislature) cave at this important date and time in this fight to stand against, with all possible vigor, this job killing Federal boondoggle?
In an interview recently with “Shark Tank”, the Governor was asked if he had changed his position on Obamacare, which he answered:
I sent a letter to Secretary Sebelius, ‘NO’ is not an answer on looking at these things. I got to figure out how we reduce healthcare costs. I want to figure out, how we can reduce healthcare costs, how we can improve outcome, how we can Improve access. So, I want to see, ‘if’ I can work with the federal government to make those things happen. –Governor Rick Scott
Scott, who knows a thing or two about healthcare, might have been planning on playing the right card by openly asking for dialogue to discuss the Obama-care law with the Obama Administration.
This move could have put the olive branch squarely on Obama’s lap, and leave it up to Obama and his people to try to work with Scott.
However, that meeting/discussion did not happen and Obama does not appear to want to budge under any circumstances.
SO...
IT'S NOW TIME TO CALL THE GOVERNOR’S OFFICE TODAY AND LET THE GOVERNOR (AND YOUR STATE SENATOR) KNOW THAT YOU DO NOT WANT THE GOVERNOR (AND THE LEGISLATURE) TO CAVE INTO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.
THAT FLORIDA, LIKE 26 OTHER STATES, WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR TAKING ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THESE STATE EXCHANGES. IF THE FEDS WANT AN EXCHANGE IN FLORIDA, THEY WILL HAVE TO SET IT UP AND BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ITS COSTS.

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
