Our nation's founders understood two things: humans yearn to be free and government grows in an effort to dominate the humans. Regardless of why this dichotomy exists, We The People and our freedoms are being consumed by our government. Luckily, our Founding Fathers put Article 5 in the constitution as a safeguard against the abuse of power Americans have been experiencing for the past 100 years or so. People are free when government is small. Most of our fifty (50) state legislatures are going through the Article 5 Convention of the States process and all the states could use our support. If you have been at a loss, waiting and wanting to do your part to secure freedom for your family, join the convention of states project and finally truly engage this historic effort. Click here: cosaction.com/?recruiter_id=5720 and sign the petition. There are also volunteer opportunities that you can sign up for. This process is working, we anticipate to have 39 states apply to take part in the convention of the states process by the end of this year. That's very exciting because it will take 3/4 of the states to ratify the amendments that the delgates will develop at the convention of states. The federal government will have no say in this process. The states call the convention, the states appoint the delegates, the delegates device the amendments, the states ratify the amendments, and the federal government is bound by those new constitutional amendments.
So what can we do? Support the process each step of the way. Make our voice heard to the state legislatures. We will need to make phone calls to "encourage" and empower them to develop amendments that will force the federal government to put We The Poeple first. Knowledge is power as they say, and if we stay engaged throughout the process we can steer our federal government back within the confines that our founders originally intended.
