Mr. President, The most appropriate venue for your speech today, your defining moment to show the world "Obama", is in Ankara, Turkey.

 

The struggle in both countries is to define how the Government can function separate from religion and yet provide freedom of religion as freedom of religion is the backbone of all freedoms.

Men and Women of the Muslim world, roughly half of the Muslim people do not believe Islam and Democracy can co-exist in the same country. Turkey is the best example of the existence of democracy in a Muslim country in the world today. In traditional Muslim society, all spheres of life are theoretically ruled by religious law, and religious organizations do not exist apart from the state. Turkey is a great example of what can be accomplished by dividing the line between the two and yet even here a return to the struggle of old is rocking the foundations of the Islamic world. The battle has now spread around globe with Lybia being the conflagration of an empic struggle between many peoples and religions.

 

Recognize that all men are created equal in the sight of GOD almighty and he will do as he likes with anyone of us whither man or nation.

 

 

Should your thoughts and actions be controlled by Religion or government? Do you have freedom of choice? Can you elect government leaders independent of the religious establishment? In most Muslim countries the answer would be no as religion dramatically effects the outcomes of most elections.   

 

I have seen many sides of Islam, if you unveil the real face of Islam it is not the Taliban or Al-Qaeda exploiting such things as public executions, beheadings, amputations and floggings to control people. Those are terrorists and not civilized human actions. There is no room for suicide attacks in Islam. Jihad is the continuing battle started by Adam between giving God control and doing what we would like. The real face of Islam is this struggle for the inner control of ones self---jihad. The real issue is can the desires of the mind be overcome with the dependence on God? If not we are only left with the force of habit, manmade or religious laws to make anyone conform to the requirements of a civilized society? It seems that the eternal struggle is for a set of laws that all people can adhere too. Does anyone thing that possible? Can external force control another persons mind?

 

The issue confronting Turkey and the peoples of the world today is this; Freedom cannot exit without democracy and democracy cannot succeed without an underlying moral edifice taught to the offspring of its citizens. The Ten Commandments as the rule of law form the basis of our way of life in Western nations and Islamic rule controls in most middle eastern nations. Manmade Laws that have no meaning are not and cannot be enforced. They only serve to discredit the integrity of the government as more and more laws are added trying to control everyday behavior. People in power choose which laws to enforce and the society works only if the citizens willingly follow those laws.

 

What does freedom, freedom of choice mean to you?

 

Ask yourself this question? What are we doing with public diplomacy to reach the hearts and minds of a billion and a half Muslims around the world to teach them that freedom of choice is a gift of God and no man can control the thoughts of another?

 

This same question was asked of a US President from a Muslim man once before several years ago. I have thought about it many times since.

 

It has two implications, one the USA and other western democratic nations have caused the Muslim fury and cries of jihad against the West because of our very radical secular humanism. If so we need to change our actions. The other implication is that Islamic teaching of very fundamental radical Islam and all of the violence that goes with it is the problem and we need to be doing something proactive to address how youth in Muslim cultures are educated. In other words is the liberal left the problem or the radical Muslims? What is the true meaning of jihad? Is it an inner struggle or a struggle for control of the world?

First, western secular humanism, the liberal left, is a major factor in the Muslim world view causing a very negative image of the west. To outsiders it appears that Western Civilization and the USA in particular has lost sight of all religious training. They don’t seem to realize the extent that secular humanism is also a problem for Western religions as well as it does not have a place for GOD!  

"Humanism is a democratic and ethical life stance, which affirms that human beings have the right and responsibility to give meaning and shape to their own lives. It stands for the building of a more humane society through an ethic based on human and other natural values in the spirit of reason and free inquiry through human capabilities. It is not theistic, and it does not accept supernatural views of reality." Man is in control and the majority elected or most popular person rules everyone else.

Does this create a problem that needs to be addressed by the United States and other western nations? Very much so, Freedom without an individual moral code of ethics is creating another Sodom and Gomorra where anything goes. With the non-religion religion of Secular Humanism absolute or objective truth is denied outright the individual can do anything. As a result of this view the USA has been seen by many as a country controlled by people with no moral values. A country that has created a national religion that teaches no morals at all. To many it appears as if the only question remaining is when Western Nations will declare that God does not and has never existed. How foolish can secular people be? It is easy to see that GOD exists all you have to do is look around you, man did not and could not create the beauty and wonders of this amazing world in which we live. Think of the most glorious mountain, the most fantastic ocean, the swiftest river, can you even think that man created something that he has never been able to control. Then think of the wildest animal the fastest bird in the sky or the most beautiful person that you can envision! Now that you have the picture in your mind can you conceive of creating the object of your vision? If so that makes you an artist of which there have been many great ones though out history, for the most man has been able to do is  to create images of GOD’s great provisions for our life. Images to be shared and passed down through the ages as examples of what man aligned with GOD can attain.

 

The inner alignment with GOD is the thing we should all seek. All of the cultures of the world worship GOD! It is only when people try to make themselves to be GOD or start worshiping other things in the place of God or thinking man made laws are adequate to control the unruly people’s of the world that man, not one but all of us, is doomed to complete failure.   GOD is in control and he will always reign supreme. There is not a man or nation in the world that can perform an act of GOD. The most creative or destructive achievement will never compare to what GOD has done and is capable of doing. This is the world we live in.

 

Why should you care about our ability to counter the kind of cultural onslaught that has decimated our great God given religions?

Ask yourself as the early leaders of the United States of America did. Can any free democratic government be permanent, where the public worship of God, and the support of religion, constitutes no part of the policy or duty of the government? Can a free democratic society exist without teaching a religious moral or ethical basis for decision making to its hires? Can money solve all of our problems?

 

Western Nations and the USA in particular have been warned many times since 1973 and yet we are not preparing for the conflict ahead.  Western Nations are at war both on the open battle field and spiritually. Can we stop the open battles? Can we stop the spiritual fall? Can we change God’s mind or are we all doomed to failure?

 

Look how far the USA has fallen in 44 years when the loss of 4000+ men and women in open battle for past five years to support our freedom is considered to much while in the same amount of time the sacrifice of over six million babies for the preservation of a convenient lifestyle is totally acceptable.

 

The very strength of the United States of America, our democratic system based on the Christian rule of law and the fact that “all men are created equal” is being used against us as our individual freedoms are being used by secular humanist and foreigners to change the system to their liking. We are loosing our identity; we are no longer a Christian nation but a Godless secular nation. Our Christian religion now takes a back seat to everything. In the United States of America we now live in a post-Christian, post-Western cultural crisis which threatens the very heart of our culture. With open and vulnerable borders and populations divided by language, race and religion we have become politically weak and divided as a nation. A house divided cannot stand that is the fear the people in the United States have. The elections of the past few years certainly show that we are divided with many elections having millions of votes cast only to be decided by a few hundred or in some cases less than 100 votes. We are as divided as Muslims on the issue of religion and democracy.

Just as Adam fell from grace in the Garden of Eden the USA has fallen from grace as a nation. We have proved that Morality cannot be established by the rule of law. Even GOD given laws can be disobeyed. A legal structure cannot exist in a secular humanistic void. If man does not have an inner moral compass to guide him he will fall from grace. Adam is our example. The struggle is always with our own desires virus what GOD desires for our life. It is an inner struggle that man has fought for thousands of years and will always fight. That is why GOD has provided us with religion to assist each and every individual with the struggle. We cannot win the inner battle alone. We need support from people with the same desire to give GOD the glory.

 

GOD created the great religions of the world to provide man with an external society with rules to conform to as a way to help control those inner desires.

 

The Judeo-Christian ethic based on the Ten Commandments on which the United States of America was founded constitutes the basis of our legal structure.  It requires an underlying moral edifice as affirmed by the oath of office, “so help me God”, without it nothing works; with it all is possible.

 

As we have seen though the rules cannot stand on their own. If judges, politicians, business leaders, religious leaders or individuals do not have a moral basis upon which to make decisions, anything goes. Morally unrestrained Free will to make individual choices leads to bad decisions and sin which brings suffering to many, even the entire nation.

 

Today, judges rule that our citizens in the USA should hold the Ten Commandment's with utter indifference. This is inconsistent with the intent of the law. There is no law limiting the display of religion in public places, promoting infidelity, secular humanism, or supporting the complete removal of religious teaching in public. How do judges reconcile this view to be consistent with the constitution and their oath of office?

 

The failure of people in the United States of America to follow God’s teachings comes with a warning in the prayer from Deuteronomy Chapter 28 that is quoted often as how God has blessed us as a nation and made us “--a shining light upon the hill”.  The warning says, First we will ignore all of God’s commands, even taking them out of the court house, turning us into a secular humanist, epicurean society where anything goes. Well we have reached that point, God is no longer a part of our culture in the United States of America.

 

Second, the other view implicating Islamic schools and Mosque’s teaching the fundamental radical Islamic call to jihad, a struggle for control of the world, “death to America”, “death to the infatile”, as the cause of open battle is very real. What is being taught in Islamic schools and Mosque’s around the world? Hate anything or anyone western. Radical Islam’s cult like mind control teaches from an early age that the individual has no freedom to make decisions that all things including his time of death have been determined by Allah. Allah Hu Akbar [Allah is the Greatest, as in "Greater" than other gods], asserting the "godliness" of terrorist action including despicable cold-blooded murder. Fear is a powerful weapon and easily employed by radical Islamic people who do not fear death to exploit people who do.

Islamic teachings make no distinction between political and religious activity. By all accounts they teach that political life must be subservient to the religious life. Who is doing the teaching?  Why do these religious leaders not teach that jihad is the inner struggle to control the desire of the human mind? Is Islam a religion or political movement?

Some radical Islamic leaders have a plan to achieve a new world order the ultimate goal being a truly and fully, united Islamic world, a new capitulate. That is the stated objective of radical Islam and that objective is evidenced by open battle going on in many nations today. It is a battle being waged even in the United States of America which radical Islam has “deemed amenable” to take over action because of our open society with it’s many individual freedoms. That would make Islam a political movement trying to control society not a religion teaching individuals how to control their inner desire.

Unfortunately, radical Islamic people are breeding themselves into power around the world and in the USA. As the radical Islamic people say, time is on their side. Western nations are too slow to react and Islamic nations fail to make the distinction between politics and religion.

Just as Western Nations including the United States of America or doing little to root out or control the radical left secular humanist the Muslim Nations and peaceful Islamic people are doing nothing to root out the radical Islamic teachings.

Both are doomed to failure as a clash of civilizations in major proportions is underway with the major religions and governments running headlong on a collision course that will rock the foundation of the world as we know it.

What do the people of the world desire, conflict without end or recognition of religion as an inner struggle for control of the individual human mind?

What are we to do?

 

A return to basics is needed from the Christian and Jewish side.  

 

This means a return to teaching the 10 commandments as the moral code for our lives. We believe that God is love.

 

Godly people who care take no pleasure in bringing pain into the lives of others. Yet, sometimes this is the role love calls us to take. It takes courage and faith to embrace the pain and accept the potential of being misunderstood. Confronting other individuals about their path of deception and sin is a ministry of love but it is risky. We must be willing to suffer a change or even a loss of relationship as those we confront may turn on us and malign us but love means giving everything we have. Christians must get out of the Church, get involved in the culture and say I have faith in Jesus Christ! Jew and Christian alike must take action to become involved in society and pray for guidance. We must turn back to God as a nation and show love for one another.

 

The story Jesus told (in Luke 15:11-32) of the lost son offers a graphic picture of turning back to God. There are five essential parts that can be applied to the USA:

1. Consequences of godless living: Hitting the bottom is often necessary to help someone see the foolishness and emptiness of life without God.
2. Conviction: Recognition of the mess Godless, amoral, decision making has made of the country. It just keeps getting worse.
3. Confession: Acknowledging the sin against God and there are many in our society as a whole.
4. Contrition: Recognition of unworthiness and a willingness to accept the circumstantial consequences sin deserves.
5. Conversion: Turning back to God is more than words and plans—it is action! It is repentance without excuses or hesitations! (See: Acts 26:20;Matthew 3:8;Titus 2:14;3:8)

 

On the Muslim side it means dropping the call for political jihad, terrorist actions and Sharia law.

It means teaching the apolitical, inward turning teachings of Islam and practices which promises closeness to God, beauty of character, and sincerity in religion to Islamic people. Particularly youth, as young people have been attracted to political Islamic terrorist’s movements which promise outward action and material benefits but only result in an early death.

 

I have seen the side of Islam I would like to think is the true Islam as taught by 25 principles which should be the standard of every Islamic school and Mosque.

Islam must come to understand that Individual freedom of choice is a gift from our creator, a birthright of all humanity. How that freedom is used is a personnel choice. If individuals do not have a moral basis upon which to make decisions, anything goes as we see from radical Islam or liberal Secular Humanism. Freedom of choice carries a great assumption of risk, as bad decisions will not go unpunished for GOD is in control of all.

 

Islam, in a religious context means the complete submission to the will of God the act of committing oneself unreservedly to God, and a Muslim is a person who makes this commitment. The Arabic word "Islam" simply means "submission", and is derived from a word meaning "peace" and a life focused on peace, mercy, and forgiveness.

 

Christian, in a religious context means that through faith in Christ and the in dwelling of the Holy Spirit the individual is in complete submission to the will of GOD. Becoming a Christian is the act of committing oneself unreservedly to God through faith in Christ.

We need to support freedom of religion and democracy world wide. Individual freedom is a powerful thing. We also need to teach moral responsibility on a world wide basis.

Islam needs to promote the relevance of contemporary Islamic religious issues and the humanitarian side of the Islamic religion.

Few contemporary Muslims write in English or Arabic and even fewer Muslims outside the Southeast Asia region know the English or Malay languages. Therefore, the radical Islamic tradition derived from the Middle East from so many centuries ago is the only form of Islam taught in most of the world. What country has the most contemporary religious view of Islam? Do we have plans for translations directly into Arabic?

 

In the USA Separation of Church and State forms a part of the foundation of our country. Understanding the separation of Church and State is essential for grasping all of the verses in the New Testament about peace and the sword and it essential for understanding the basis of the Constitution of the United States of America.

 

The kingdom of God wages only spiritual warfare, preaching and praying alone, it does not weld the sword. Physical military warfare is left to the political kingdom. The state cannot establish a national religion, secular humanism or any other. The struggle for spiritual control of the mind is a painfully individual human experience. It is universal; everyone ultimately comes to put the past behind, to let go of painful familial scripts and be accountable for their own choices as death is not a lonely hunter it comes to us all thanks to Adam. Are we prepared? Where do you place your faith? Secular Humanism says if you have faith in yourself you can do anything.

 

Radical Islam also says you can do anything in the name of Allah.

 

What does your religion say about Jesus Christ?

 

Faith in Jesus Christ and God says bad decisions have real life and death consequences. You only get one jump from the Empire state building or you can only destroy the country once but Jesus Christ can do anything through you if you would only trust in Him.

No matter how great the bribe, riches cannot buy the gift of grace nor can all the forces of evil. Only GOD can judge people by what is in their heart. “..GOD so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life” John 3:16.  GOD does not ask you to kill people. GOD is love “The one who does not love does not know GOD for GOD is love” 1 John 4:8

 

The first President of the United States of America prayed an appropriate prayer for today, “We acknowledge with grateful hearts the many and signal favors of Almighty God upon our nations. ---

 

Help us be an example so that when people and nations despair in their trials, troubles and tribulations they will see the Grace of God shine on us, and seek to know Him themselves.

 

Let us unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations and beseech Him to pardon our national and other transgressions; to enable us all, whether in public or private stations, to perform our several and relative duties properly and punctually; to render our National Governments a blessing to all the people by constantly being a Government of wise, just, and constitutional laws, discreetly and faithfully executed and obeyed; to protect and guide all sovereigns and nations, and to bless them with good governments, peace, and concord; to promote the knowledge and practice of true religion and virtue, and the increase of science among all nations; and, generally to grant unto all mankind such a degree of temporal prosperity as He alone knows to be best.”

 

And our declaration of Independence says what we Americans hold so dear to our hearts.

 

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed….”

 

 

In the sense that all men are created equal, by tolerating differences and accepting church and state separation, the people of Turkey and all nations can truly embrace themselves as one culture identified by their nationality and not their religious preferences.

 

God is in control of the tapestry of life and yet he gives us freedom to make our own decisions as his greatest joy is watching his love be made known by the interaction of his people.

 

In Him we live, and move, and have our being. As long as we are “in Him” we are in the flow pf God’s power and strength. Peace and power are ours. But sadly we become detached from this flow.  We do not live “in Him” and thus accumulate fear, anziety, negative thinking----everything that causes failure.

 

Let us therefore:  TAKE ACTION!

 

Close your eyes, shut out the world, in this moment of silence, the one thing you must do is to think about yourself or any of your problems. Instead, think about God for one minute and conceive of Him as now recreating you.

 

In your mind listen as God says: “Come unto me, all that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest”----------------------------------------------------------------“ I will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on me”.

 

Christianity is life, not a way of life, but life itself. It is the essence of life. It is vitality and vibrant energy. Christianity is, therefore, more than a mere creed or an idea. It is a throbbing, pulsating, vibrant, creative energy even in such manner as the sunlight is energy, only infinitely more so. It is deep therapy which can drive to the heart of a personality or of society (which is an amalgamation of individual personalities) in breaking down infection centers, building up life centers, transforming, endowing with new energy----in a word recreating.

 

“In him was life; and the life was the light of men.” “In him” that is in Christ, is life (vitality). “ In him” is creative energy and this creative energy is the tremendous dynamic power of life itself.

 

When by a conscious act of will one turns his mind to God, fixing his thought upon the divine source of power and energy: then in such manner as if he had turned a switch and electrical contact had been made, spiritual power begins to pass into him.

 

That is the “Spirit” that permeates the core of a Christian America, providing a shining light to the peoples of the world yearning for freedom.
