Every day more information surfaces that shows we must be more vigilant about voting systems

This first video, which was just posted on Vimeo yesterday, is on the FCTP web site (in videos). If you have watched this very long video on the web site, you know what the problems are and that the machines are flawed and election fraud is not only possible but highly likely to have already happened in a number of locations using Diebolt electronic voting machines or in other words, our democratic system of voting is very much jeopardized.  One of the other electronic voting machine companies is Sequoia and articles and videos about that company are below.  Although this is not all the information available about these companies or electronic voting machines in general, it is damming and downright scary.

This video explains how un-reliable these machines are. We the people must have these machines banned.

Remote Vote Tampering Attack on a Sequoia AVC Voting Machine by Argonne National Lab
Sequoia Voting Systems seem to have inadvertently released SQL code from their voting machines. And people are saying that the code is incriminating. People who have analyzed the code claim that it contained code designed to control or influence the outcome of an election.

John and Roma, I get totally what you are saying, and I am certainly not saying it could never be the candidates, but in this case I remember reading an article about a company that was an SEIU union shop was doing maintanence on these electronic voting machines.  Since they support one party and that party would surely love to pick who they run against, there is a better than even chance there is something amiss there.  I understand we have people from both sides who are somewhat less than honest, and yes John, when they are talking about the -16,000, it is Paul who managed to get that score which obviously is totally impossible.  But, the machines didn't count properly when they tested them with just a few ballots.  Fortunately, it made a believer out of the supervisor of elections where the test was done, but not in the place where they had a huge negative vote............they went right out and bought the machines anyway (certainly something is wrong there and the people from there should be highly concerned).  We still should have more information about this as there is a 3rd company as well and guess it would be nice to know who their employees are and who runs these companies and who they associate with?

Thanks John.  Here are the links on the page John referred us to.  The one thing I would interject here is that I don't think the candidates are in any way involved in this nor would any of the current republican candidates be involved in voter fraud period.   I would say, however, the this is correct.  In the longer video provided there is a case of a -16,000 vote for someone, and it was indeed Ron Paul.

CONCLUSION: In this caucus (Aldeson Precinct in Clark County Nevada) with accountability present, Ron Paul received 3X more (three times more) votes than Romney. Yet, Romeny won Nevada????

I never suggested that absentee voting be eliminated, rather. I suggested it poses the greatest risk. And no solutions have been posed for this risk.

Amanda, now you know I like you, but you didn't read my post but you responded (I think).  I have no idea what you are talking about.  I have explained why the new laws are in place and there are all sorts of folks that register voters, they just follow the law and none of them get in trouble at all.

And yes, you are right about the absentee ballots...........................but eliminating them would be voter suppression since many who use them are handicapped or have something that limited them in some manner and aren't able to get to the polls or are maybe in the military.  So now, you are fighting against your own arguments.....................giving up now.

The League of Women Voters, as bipartisan as it gets, has stopped voter registration drives in Florida due to the onerous rules now in place. Is that what we want, a citizenry not participating? Read the FEC reports on voter fraud, it is virtually nonexistent, we have implemented a solution to a problem that does not exist. Direct me to published reports that do not exist. Fake voter registrations, absolutely. Those being converted to actual registered voters, nil. Voter drive workers are forbidden from failing to submit every application. But they are weeded out by officials. Absentee ballots actually present the biggest danger of voter fraud, though there is little indication that many people vote in two different states.
These are the facts, please validate what I have said, go to the FEC site, and you can look make over more than one administration. Read the studies.

Amanda, at least when you come on here to take an alien stand on something, please do your homework.  The reason that law was passed is because all these folks going around registering people to vote were not turning the registrations in and when people went to the polls to vote (and didn't know they should have gotten a voter card apparently.............), they could not vote because they were not registered.  Now, this is just a wild guess, but I am betting if someone didn't know they had to have a voter card, then, they probably were of a group you would fight for.  The law was needed so, if someone registers someone to vote, the registration gets turned in.  Once there is a fine as punishment, people tend to get religion about things like turning the registrations in as required.  Now as far as the teacher that keeps getting brought up over and over and over again, she is supposed to be a well educated person, but she never checked to find out what the requirements were and things do change even from one year to the next, so SHAME on her.  If you are going to register voters, then, I guess you have to know what the rules are.  I do not feel the least bit sorry for her.

...when high school teachers are fined thousands of dollars for trying register their students to vote, that is voter suppression.

Diebold, gave huge money to Republicans, so what is your point there. As a matter of fact they once guaranteed an Ohio election for the Republicans.

Patricia, what are the actual numbers on illegal aliens voting? Waht are the verified instances of voter fraud? Do they even equal one-tenth of one percent? Which would be too high unless protecting us against that number kept more people who legitimately have the right to vote from being able to do so.

A former Congressman in Kentucky, refused the right to vote because of descrepancies.

Considering in 2000 25,000 votes in Duval County were thrown out without being counted, I would say the problem is on the side of those running the elections and not those who are participating.

Amanda, I just read an article this morning about illegal aliens voting so you are WRONG.  They don't go in huge numbers but they do go, and nothing would please Obama more than to get every one of them to the polls which is why he doesn't want anyone to require verification of who voters are like picture ids..........and of course I am sure he would love these machines so if he doesn't win, he and his friends can win just by changing the numbers around since they don't give a rats whatever about any of us and what we want.

John, I know I read a while back that Seqyiua is unionized and union employs do their trouble shooting.  The union is SEIU.  I have been sort of busy and have some new chores of late that are kind of limiting my time on line to look around, but hopefully, I will be able to find the articles again about this issue.  It as a while back as I said but surely, the internet interlopers have not blocked and removed so much you can find things like this any longer :).

There is NO evidence anywhere that illegals are going to the polls. They generally stay away, they choose to have as little contact as they can with governmental interests.
