I was invited to speak at the Tea Party Caucus in the House of Representatives Monday night. It was a memory I will forever cherish and am thankful for the opportunity.
Michelle Bachmann reached out and asked three tea party leaders to speak on behalf of the Tea Party Movement. Her goal was to get our input on the Debt Ceiling. (Answer: Do not raise the Debt Ceiling.) The room was filled with new and more seasoned representatives who felt they identified as a tea party member.
I’m sorry to say but my Representative, Ander Crenshaw, did not show up nor did anyone from the Northeast Florida area, including Rep. John Mica who I had breakfast with the next morning for a discussion on High Speed Rail.
Our new and outspoken Rep. Allen West was there and we had a meeting with him earlier in the day in his office. Let me say this about Rep. West – “Thank God he is there! What a man of character and courage and he is certainly a leader!” (We’re talking to him about showing up for a gig in North Florida in the near future so stay tuned on that one!)
The two days in DC were exhausting and enlightening. My encounters went like this:
My overall observation was this:
The two days were worth the time and the efforts walking those long hallways in high heels for the sake of Liberty! Now we must get to work and it must start today. November 2012 is only 19 months away and it is time to find our new leaders to run against the RINOs and root out the Progressives. Anyone up for the job?
BY THE WAY – We are now heading to Tally next week to meet with our leaders. March 8 is our day in Tally and we hope you will make plans to attend. If you are coming from Jacksonville, we have a free bus awaiting you for the trip up and back on the same day – March 8. On the schedule will be meetings with our legislators, a rally at noon on the steps of the Capitol with some great speakers, and a press conference at 4:00 announcing the new Tea Party Caucus in Tallahassee led by Rep. Mike Weinstein from Jacksonville. We will be a part of setting up this Tea Party Caucus and developing the agendas as they move forward with this new initiative. Contact our office at (904) 683-3945 to reserve a seat on the bus.
And another note: Today, March 2, at 4:30 we will announce the First Coast Tea Party endorsements of local candidates for city council and the mayor’s race. We ask for your prayers and support as we make these announcements.
Continue to stay focused, stay awake and stay the course. Tell your friends to join our movement and get involved in securing freedom and liberty for all. Our country needs you.
P.S. – Find attached a poster we handed out at the Caucus. Print one for yourself and post it on your wall. These people showed up way before any others across this globe showed up in their city squares. The media never spoke about that day and the numbers that came to DC. And guess what happened on that day – no one got hurt, the place was clean as a whistle when we left and no media personnel were attacked. America was the first to stand for freedom and why didn’t the media report about that? Look for the First Coast Tea Party in the crowd. We were there and we plan to be a part of the next March on DC in November 2012 when we take back Congress and hopefully the White House!

Billie,
You are incredible! I am so glad you have the time to stand in D.C. I have seen first hand how unique the obstacles are there and I have confidence the Tea Party will gain momentum to make many significant changes.

I would like to Nominate a Great Tea Party Person, a Wonderful Patriot, a True American Citizen; a God Fearing- Country Loving; U. S. Constitution and Bill of Rights adhearent; a individual that has the Temprament and Pure Grit, that President Ronald Reagon had; that John Wayne had; that thousands upon thousands of Americans head during the Great World War 11; and who has the Initative and Incentive (just plain GUTS) to do this Job as a Senator or Representative to the "Peoples House" come 2012 Elections. Billie J. Tucker!
And Billie, please Pray about this, and discuss it with your better half, and consider it. There are many who have seen and heard you, and know you are "True Blue" from the Crown of your head- to the soles of your feet.
Do we have a Second on this Motion"?
Great work Billie! We need to go on the offense against the slow "high Speed rail" spending trip to hell. It does not matter where the money is spent it is simply wrong. We cannot fund enough HSR projects to make a train system function in the USA. Railroad passenger travel in the USA failed almost a century ago, there is no reviving it. Why should we even try? Do we really want to look and operate like the rest of the dysfunctional world or do we want to lead the world?
Here is my suggestion for what we do.
The most important part of the transportation system analysis is not to start with the specific components but rather to view the complete system as one unit creating a dynamic vision. A vision, that will inspire the people of Florida to function together to "create the most prosperous state in the nation". The clarity of the mission reduces the need for detailed involvement by the state government as the entire world is focused on achieving the goal.
Communication is the key to changing the present system of transportation which results in freeways clogged with single occupant vehicles, airports with people sleeping in them for days and rail stations with "People Pushers" to pack the limited number of available rail cars with the maximum number of people.
Transportation demand management says the individual, group or item needing transportation should communicate their location, destination and times required for departure and arrival to the system. The system will determine the most efficient cost effective form of transportation.
In peak travel times this would result in a high capacity vehicle where the route is determined by first departure point, vehicle capacity, and the number of people going to the same final destination. Off peak the vehicle size is determined by the number of people needing transportation and is available on demand.
Transportation demand management paired with a LugeWay battery recharge and computerized guidance system where the vehicle transports you to your next destination is a game changer. All types of Electric Vehicles can operate without ever having to stop for refueling. There is no need for connection terminals and crowded railroad stations. Transportation is available on demand for public, private and handicapped use.
This system could be built along side the existing highway network using the HOV lane to spur the growth of the electric vehicle industry.
Every component for the implementation of this transportation system is available and being used. The challenge is to create a vision for the future of transportation in Florida and America that will marshal the available resources to achieve the desired result. If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
