WE NEED YOUR INPUT IN THE NEXT 3 HOURS PLEASE

The phones are ringing off the hook for tea party interviews regarding the possible Government shutdown.  This is the biggest news in a long time and they want to hear from us.

We have our opinion and hope to hear yours.

What do you think about this potential shutdown?

I will be on WTLV from 5:30 - 6:00 on a panel discussing this matter.

I would love to share your thoughts with them.

Unfortunately this is a political shut down posing as a governmental crisis. Pres. Barry is involved because he is the tacit leader of the opposing political party. Both sides are quibbling over 61 billion to evade addressing the $3,400,000,000,000.00 gorilla in the room.

"Government Spending and the looming shutdown"

The below link is to a published Opinion written by U.S. Rep. Jeff Duncan, in which he describes the enormous deficits run up by the Democrats, as "generational theft."

This is a good read and demonstrates a well-informed, common sense philosophy on the part of Rep. Duncan.

We would not be here now if our own RINO's had not spent worse than the Dem's from 2000-2006. It still drives me to grind my teeth each time I remember the way we were betrayed. 1994 was like a Zephyr of fresh air over the fetid swamp on the Potomac. Less than 10 years later, our term limit freshmen turned into porkbarrel lifers. Never will I personally turn my back on another congressman, so long as the right to vote for my congressional rep. remains in my hands. Shut it down, come on, please, this is just an unscheduled and eventually paid for vacation for the bureaucrats. If it happens, the prewritten templated stories will hit every media outlet in less than 1 minute after 12AM. I can already see the stories in my mind's eye: "Republicans starve poor school children..."; "Republicans ruin family vacations nationwide to National Parks...".   Why is is that is seems that primarily, the idiots, go to journalism school?

Below is an article that explains some of what's going on.  In addition to that, there's nothing in the Constitution that provides for the President to be a part of this process, along with Congress, other than offering his own proposed budget up front, in hopes they will use it in preparation and passing of a budget.  They don't have to.  All money bills have to originate in the House of Representatives.  The Senate can propose changes to it but they can't originate more spending unless the House considers it and approves it.  If they don't agree, they are supposed to have a Joint Conference Committee to iron out the differences.  Nowhere does the Constitution say they can bypass this process and have  "conferences" at the White House with the President and make him a part of the legislative process, along with the two majority leaders of Congress. The only thing the President is supposed to do, is wait until the Joint Conference Committee has come to an agreement, the final bill is passed, the passed bill is sent to him by Congress for his signature. The President can sign it or veto it.  If he vetoes it, the Congress can over-ride his veto if they can obtain the required number of votes to do so.  Democrats have completely subverted the process and, along with the President, are acting unconstitutionally. But, what's new??

Democrats have acted unconstitutionally in many respects since taking the majority in both chambers of Congress. And, now that they've lost the House and don't want to have to account for their exploding the deficit, they're having a major, national, Tea-Party-hating temper tantrum. With 24 Democrat Senators not standing for re-election in 2012, while only 10 Republicans are not standing for re-election, we have a great chance to take the Senate back and possibly pick up some more House seats.

Democrats' hatred of the Tea Party is visceral, because the Tea Party movement is largely responsible for their losing their absolute power in Congress, while having a Democrat in the White House.  And, we're the ones who will be aggressively holding them accountable for the next 18 months and on election day. If the Tea Party hadn't been successful in taking back the House in Nov. 2010, Democrats would have had free reign to pass all their socialist programs and cram them down our throats. I say, POWER TO THE TEA PARTY! 2012 HERE WE COME!  Then we'll shut THEM down.

If that is what it takes to stop the Obama spending spree, then so be it.  Shut it down and send half of the unneeded government workers home.

The truly sad thing is that liberals are breeding out the liberal mindset trait, if there happens to be one. A few hundred more years of abortions(which are normally performed on liberals), should eventually breed the liberal gene from the human DNA genome.

True, but the fastest way to do it will be to elect fiscal conservatives that happen to also be social conservatives. 2 more conservative supreme court justices also would not hurt the cause. We win and save them without ever having to say it and possibly scaring off the fence sitters.

Well, it looks like the left is poised to marginalize the Tea Party, no matter their form, location or membership, on solely social conservative issues this election cycle. They just don't understand, the fools actually believe that there is a Grand Canyon of separation between a fiscal & social conservative. As long as we strive for our voices to be heard solely on the fiscal conservative issues, the social issues get resolved without ever having to mention them. They just want us to give them one whiff of social conservative commentary and they believe we will wither under the liberal media onslaught. Like a wedge in an ironwood log, they hope to split us with a few simple words (prolife or prochoice/prodeath).

Too bad the Democrats couldn't get a budget together last year under the constitutional law that they are supposedly operating under. I don't want to see a shut down but if it happens I say bye bye to everyone of those useless idiots

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
