Hi Beth! Great question...My husband and I are still trying to figure out if we move to FL in August or December over Christmas break. Trying to coordinate sale of our home in TX, son graduating from high school and then college and daughter starting high school in fall. Then cross country move, at our expense, to one of the beach communities. Either way, it will be this year but not soon enough. I lived in FL as a child and it has always been my favorite state.
I so look forward to working with all of you great Patriots that understand and respect our freedom and way of life is at great risk and doing my part to help save our beautiful state and country from corrupt politicians and sheep that do not think about the far reaching consequences of their vote.
Thanks for the welcome - - - If you noticed my video post, you know the main reason for my joining you folks (however, I did live in Sunrise for five years and was stationed in Jacksonville [Marines]) - - - Bobby A
Hello Beth--thanks for being my friend on the FCTP site---I guess this is just one more way of communicating with each other. In this case, within the FCTP itself, I think. Anyway, I see that there is going to be a big meeting coming up in March at the First Conservative Baptist Church. Are you planning to be there? I really would like to attend that and it would be great if you are going also.
I have a boycott of NBC petition I have started on causes page and I would like for you to take a look and sign the petition if you agree---it's based on that blasphemous video that NBC put on Saturday Night Live a couple weeks ago about Jesus. Here's the link: t_BOYCOTTNBC It's a bitly link so if you would share it just by cutting and pasting, or since it is so short and easy to remember you could just type in http://bit.ly/t_BOYCOTTNBC. I have also been tweeting it to get some attention that way, but for some reason I just get frustrated with twitter. I like Facebook much better, but have been cutting back on it also. So many family and friends on Facebook these days that I just can slam the door on it, or I would lose contact with so many that I have gotten spoiled to being in touch with routinely on there. I am pretty good at using social media for things so that I think is one of my strong points. I do want to get involved with the First Coast Tea Party. I have been involved with the movement intellectually from the start via social media, so now it is time, now that I have it, to do more. We have to start now to win in 2014, and then also in 2016.
Unless you are very wealthy and can fund your own campaign, in order to succeed as a candidate, you must raise funds. Events, mailing campaigns, printing, signage, advertisements, etc. all add up to huge expenses. If you've received enough signatures, you won't need funds to qualify. However, if you fall short, in order to be a candidate you must pay the amount for postitions listed in the previous blog.
A common misconception about political fundraising is that it…
