Event Description

Atlantic Beach city commission will hold a regularly scheduled public work shop for the commissioners to discuss the idea, gather facts and take public comment on a Human Rights, gay rights agenda.   If the Commission whom has already stated would be in favor of such a bill, decides to move forward with the bill, it may be an item on their agenda for the December Commission meeting. The bill would have to go through two reading and could be voted on at the February meeting. A legal draft of an ordinance or bill should be available no later than at the workshop meeting Monday November 25th. The Times Union article can be found at http://jacksonville.com/news/metro/2013-11-13/story/atlantic-beach-consider-human-rights-ordinance#.UoRWnrVbgr0.facebook
