* Carole is one of the original founders of the First Coast Tea Party. She is a California native and worked in the Bay areas as an educator for 15 years. She was married to Jim McManus for 30 years and is the mother of 2 great kids. Carole felt nudged by God to find out what was meant by a Tea Party on February 26, 2009. The rest is history and the Tea Party movement came to Jacksonville on February 27, 2009 with 79 people finding their way to the Jacksonville Landing. From that initial event, along came the First Coast Tea Party in mid-March 2009."What a privilege to join with other Americans over these nearly 4 years, and stand up for this great country and educate, inspire and guide others in our area to do the same. May God continue to bless our America."
