Leadership Council

How we started:

Where it all began

Carole McManus - Chairman

* Carole is one of the original founders of the First Coast Tea Party. She is a California native and worked in the Bay areas as an educator for 15 years. She was married to Jim McManus for 30 years and is the mother of 2 great kids. Carole felt nudged by God to find out what was meant by a Tea Party on February 26, 2009. The rest is history and the Tea Party movement came to Jacksonville on February 27, 2009 with 79 people finding their way to the Jacksonville Landing. From that initial event, along came the First Coast Tea Party in mid-March 2009."What a privilege to join with other Americans over these nearly 4 years, and stand up for this great country and educate, inspire and guide others in our area to do the same. May God continue to bless our America."

Pam Jackson - Vice Chairman

* Pam was born in Toronto, Canada to american parents. Having lived in 13 different countries (2 under dictators) Pam is sensitive to how exceptional America is. Pam graduated from Denver University majoring in Economics and Political Science with a minor in History. Pam is married to Michael Jackson. They own and operate Tectron Engineering. Pam and Michael moved to Jacksonville because of the high taxes and EPA regulations in California. Pam and Michael joined the First Coast Tea Party because "We the people are going to save our country!!"
