We will have signs and handouts for both candidates.  Clay Yarborough (district 1 city councilman)  is running against another republican (opponent, Lindsey Brock,  was a democrat until 2 weeks before he announced his run and changed his political party designation to republican just before he announced).
Both clay Yarborough and Mike Hogan need donations and phone calls made if you can't walk.

I hope you have a good trip, and hopefully, good news about the new mayor when you come back.

Thanks Pat.  I will be out of town next Saturday.  Will have to vote early as I will be out of town election day.

Leanne, sorry you can't come as well.  Maybe next Saturday (the event is already listed).  We can sure use walkers for then as well :).  And thank you for all you do!

I will not able to join you guys after all.  I am working on getting the relief truck loaded and on its way tomorrow.  I was really looking forward to it.

Thanks Patricia,

I've re-thought this & share your concern over leaving her in the car for any time at all. She certainly has an abundance of hair & can be hot even in A/C.  What sealed the deal was having to leave my other setter at home by herself while Mariah & I were gone.  Mariah stays home but I look forward to seeing everyone at breakfast.

Hi Pam, I don't know that would be a problem except if you plan to come in for breakfast as you would not be able to bring the dog in and with the warm weather, I am not sure how safe your dog would be in a warm car (I rarely take mine out these days if I have to leave her in the car at all).  We do knock on doors and talk to people as well as leaving plastic sleeves on doors along with Clay's campaign info.  You know your dog better than I do and how well he/she would handle it (I am not trying in the least to discourage you but to let you know what we do when we go).  Irish setters tend to be lovely friendly dogs so will leave it up to you :).  You also have the option of meeting us in the parking lot at 9:45 if you don't care about breakfast and just picking up your partner (if you wish one) and a list.

Dan, you have been there week after week, but lots of people who are regulars are going to be out of town.  I am hoping a few folks who have not tried this will step up and try it.  It is only about 3 hours.  Clay never sends women out by themselves and it is all done in really safe nice neighborhoods.  I am hoping you guys will give this guy some support, PLEASE!

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
