The meeting of The First Coast Tea Party of Clay County was held on September 20, 2011, 6:30 PM at the Weigel Senior Civic Center in Middleburg, Florida.  We were privileged to host a most enlightening guest speaker, U.S. Navy Retired, Captain Mike Trudell.

The title of Captain Trudell’s power point presentation was “Fruit Of A Poisonous Tree” and covers a study and research span of three years on its primary character, Barack Hussein Obama.

Although the topic of the presentation was Obama's Birth Certificate, the focus was not on whether he is eligible or born in the USA (“birther” issues), but instead on the apparent tampering with numerous areas of the document itself.

Testimonies from a Federal Court case were presented which reveal the various discrepancies and specific alterations, which include discussing the certificate's “out of sequence”number based on other births at the same time, to varying fonts, to inappropriate colors of ink. Additionally, there is an absence of an official seal, no background pattern, and typos on the birth certificate which the president provided, allegedly straight from the Department of Health, State of Hawaii.

One expert, Paul Irey, a retired professional typographer with 50 years experience in his business, says an analysis of the typefaces used in the Barack Obama's long-form birth certificate that the White House released on April 27 reveals it absolutely to be a forgery.

Mara Zebest Adobe Expert: A teacher and technical editor for Adobe and Microsoft programs came to look at the BC by a friend who relies on her for expertise. Mara reviewed the White House website’s file, downloaded the file and opened in illustrator to see what she could find…if it was a PDF it would retain information, and within seconds she recognized the document to be a fake, impossible that it could be authentic.

A third expert, Doug Vogt, who has nearly 20 years experience in all phases of scanner operation was able to easily recognize multiple layers which are not normal for a scanned document. If it were scanned into computer as the WH says it was you would only see one flat layer and one link, not multiple layers. He also was able to detect that someone was adjusting or “fixing” the Birth Certificate at one hour prior to its being presented by Obama on National TV. Quite odd that an official document would need “adjusting or fixing.”

At the end, the question was posed: Why so many errors, adjustments? That question has several possibilities and those answers stimulated intriguing scenarios.
