We have canvassed all over town. This is our last push to get this done.
Littlepage has drama in his article today. Let's prove him wrong.

Are these flyers being targeted to precincts/districts where the city council members who voted "Yes" are elected as well?

Between Pat McBride, Jane, and me, we've handed out and put under windshield wipers our 2,000 flyers in 2 days. We covered BJ's parking lot at Kernan & Atlantic, Wal-Mart lot at Kernan & Atlantic, Winn-Dixie at St. Johns Bluff & Monument, Wal-Mart lot at Regency, J.C Penney lot at Regency, Cobblestone Shopping Ctr. at Monument & McCormick, the Atlantic Blvd. Regency Square lot from J.C. Penney to Sears, and we ran out of flyers doing the back side of Regency Square. These are not all Tony's Shopping centers, but it's better to get busted and apologize than ask permission and get denied!

The fail-proof opening line to individuals has proved to be: "Good morning sir (ma'am) - are you a taxpayer?" "You'll find this very interesting - it's our last chance on Tuesday, and all we need is to change 4 Councilpersons' votes"!

Reaction has been overwhelmingly positive, with maybe 8-10 negative. Compliments to Tony Sleiman for using water-resistant paper stock and handy size of the flyers! Suggestion for next year: Add the phrase "If you're a renter, you still pay property taxes" and perhaps add the address of City Hall for those who don't frequent such places.

I put flyers on vehicles in parking lot at corner of Beach Blvd. and Kernan this morning (ca. 150). Have a good many more on hand to distribute tomorrow at same location and at the large shopping centers on both sides of Hodges at the intersection of Hodges and Beach Blvd. tomorrow morning, weather permitting. I could really use some help if anyone is willing to volunteer. You can reach me at 904-612-8811.

People have been very receptive to accepting the flyers in person, too. I have been asking them, if they are not homeowners, to pass them on to a family member or friend who is and many have agreed to do so. I saw no one throw them away or any on the ground later. Many said "thank you." There were no complaints from anyone and they seem very appreciative that we are trying to keep their taxes from going up.

I will be there as well. I just left some flyers at the Papa Murphy's pizza place in the Walmart shopping center at San Jose and Claire Lane. Jim King, the owner, is in agreement with tea party values.

Jane and I will be there!
Please advise where and when, and what else we can do.
See ya there!

Way to go Billie.

They aren't listening to him because there are dirty deals going on behind the scenes. This is bigger than facts! Ted and Dan must understand they are coming at it from facts and that is a GREAT THING. We need to come at them with what we know about dirty deals behind the scenes -- and we will.

I can't make him feel better Billie. He feels like they aren't listening to him and he is a really good CPA. Heck, I would vote for him for city council or mayor in a heart beat cause he knows what he is doing and could straighten this mess out. Today he talked about the 3/4 billion of unfunded, Dan talked about his talking points from his letter, and I was less prepared than these fantastic guys, so I said something about so many people who are just keeping it together and are on the end of a string and taxes just can't be raised. And I said other stuff, but nothing like Ted and Dan. These guys just plain rock.

Yes we can put them on cars in the lots that we have permission to do so. We will have the flyers in the next day and the locations where we can put them out.

We will send a post about it then.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
