We know you are connected with us in trying to influence our community for the better. We think “better” results from a strong voice of those committed to biblical values influencing local policy. Whether it’s opposing the “lingerie shops” which invaded our community a decade ago or the recent bout with “internet cafes.” We also want to encourage pro-active support for all the positive things being contemplated or introduced into our community. Some of the most obvious of those are innovative changes in the school system to help prepare “all” our children for the challenges they face as well.
There are a number of organizations that foster these sentiments. Participation in all or several is essential if we’re to avoid handing over our culture to those that don’t share our values. Like it or not, we are the beneficiaries of a representative form of government. If you’ve seen or read about some of the alternatives …. it’s hard not to like it, but we must be involved. One of the most important is our county Republican Party Organization (REC). The REC is instrumental in finding, vetting and supporting republican candidates. They are your representatives and have huge influence on all aspects of our community.
We would like for you to give serious consideration to attending the next REC meeting at the Orange Park town hall on May 20th at 7:00. It’s a small inconvenience (privilege) to “serve” and persuade our nominees/candidates of our desires.
If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
