This event has been announced by our friends over at Bear Witness.  There are 2 of these meeting on August 6, 2013 (the other one is at 5:30 PM at Fletcher High School in Neptune Beach ........the event is listed), and I hope you can attend at least one of them.

ATTENTION: North Florida Residents

OPPOSED to Common Core or anyone else interested in attending!!!  Bennet, Adkins, Gaetz, & and Weatherford will be in Jacksonville August 6th to hear from residents, teachers,students, parents and all other interested parties, their opposition to common core and to explain components of it to those wanting more info on the program.  This is where you meet them face to face and demand state lawmakers to oppose ALL aspects of Common Core. Please make plans now to attend this important meeting, bring any and all

documents, flyers, materials you wish, I want these two venues packed with opposition to Common Core.  Lets make this happen!
