Event Description

The 2012 City of Jacksonville Memorial Day Observance has been rescheduled for June 9th at the Veterans Memorial Wall.

 Join us as we honor Jacksonville's Fallen heroes.

The ceremony, coordinated by the city’s Military Affairs, Veterans and Disabled Services Department, is free and open to the public. It will feature keynote remarks by Rear Adm. Scorby followed by the presentation of wreaths to the families of the three service members who are being added to the Memorial Wall. The ceremony will conclude with a 21-rifle salute and "Taps."

The Navy Band Southeast and Jacksonville Pipes and Drums will perform patriotic tributes during the ceremony.

Free parking is available in the west lots of Ever Bank Stadium.
