KEEP GOD IN AMERICA
February 20, 2010

The Tea Party Prayer Team met with the KGIA organizer today in the Trinity Baptist High school. In attendance were Jorgine Fields, Patti Kinder, Valerie Sawyer, Chris Nwasike the organizer and me. After a long discussion about how this rally got started Chris laid out his hopes of what will be accomplished, mostly about getting the USA back where our forefathers fought and died for and to keep our honors clean, but mainly he was concerned that many individuals who already know Jesus would come to know Jesus in an even more powerful way and those that never made a decision for Christ would come to the saving knowledge of Him.

Chris asked us to please focus our prayers on the following:
1. Finances. In order to carry out this mission the KGIA needs $22,000, they already have $7,000 from individual donors.
2. Weather: Pray for ideal conditions, that the rally enjoys a temperature of between 72 and 75 degrees. That God will bless us with blue skies with some fluffy white cumulous clouds. So that everyone that attends will come and be comfortable.
3. Guest speakers: Pray that all guest speakers will be filled with the Holy Spirit and that God will fill them with the ability to reach and touch many for the Lord Jesus
4. Organizers: Pray for them and their families. Pray that their faith will remain strong and nothing will be able to cause them to lose faith or be discouraged.
5. Volunteers: Pray that the Lord will raise up 40 volunteers to carry out all facets of this mission. Volunteers will be needed for being counselors, church choirs, greeters, ushers, and parking attendants. Pray they all come with committed hearts to doing the Lord’s work.
6. Attendee’s: Pray for the convicting power of the Holy Spirit to touch every heart. That nothing will distract from God doing His mighty work. Pray for standing room only crowds. For everyone to exercise good Christian attitudes. Pray that Satan does not raise up individuals to take away from God’s mighty work. But most of all pray for the lost and that needy decisions will be made. Pray that everyone will be inspired to carry on this effort even after the rally is over. Pray for TV coverage that will show this rally in a positive way. And ask God to bind Satan and all his forces from interfering in any way.
7. Protection: Ask God to put a hedge of protection around; the UNF campus on Friday and Saturday, and Metropolitan Park on Sunday and protect those coming to and going from these three services.

Yea!!!! God willing I will be there and let me know what I can do to help. Do hope the guy that wrote: "God SAVE America" will be there!!!
