Pack a brown bag and join fellow patriots in a lunch bunch discussion of current topics. You would be surprised at the wonderful friendships you can develop and ideas of other patriots.

Excellent.
3-15-12 Lunch Bunch had only 5 members today, but plenty to talk about. I mentioned that I would gladly bring along anyone from the Westside wanting a ride. This led to a discussion about the Westside Chapter. I mentioned I hadn't seen any meeting notices in the Event section of our web page and had assumed they weren't having meetings anymore. Carol said perhaps I could help that group with things like posting the meetings, and of course I'll be glad to.
John discussed his method of e-mailing the "minutes" of his group to the member's e-mail addresses rather than posting them on the web page. What I'm doing isn't exactly posting "minutes", rather just recalling some topics we discussed to perhaps pique reader's interest and gain new members. Along the same line, we talked about "PR" and methods of informing people of our meetings, such as notices in community newspapers and even in the FTU.
Peggy had obtained the election report from Jerry Holland's office, found a problem, and verified her finding with one of his office workers. It seems that some precincts were allowing non-Rebublicans to vote by giving them provisional ballots, therefore the report of how many Republicans voted was incorrect because the voter's party affiliation isn't noted until the report is run, not at the time of voting. Peggy will get a list of the precincts allowing other-than-Republicans to vote in the Republican primaty for a follow up with Jerry Holland, the Election Board, and with True the Vote. Other questions concerned poll workers/watchers and whether they're retrained for each election. Another concern is insurance liability for people willing to transport voters to the polls.
That's a lot to discuss in an hour but we also managed to note the inaccuracies being reported by the media, the target groups for advertizers, and the ongoing effort to GOTV (Get Out the Vote). All of our groups have been encouraged to become known in their various communities as basically nice helpful people. GOTV wants us, not so much to advertize the Tea Party, but to advertize "ourselves", as the 1st step in interesting our neighbors in our meetings, and our candidates. All of the groups are finding a bit of resistance to this, so if anyone has any suggestions, come share them with us, please!
Not a problem.
I Will not be able to attend FCTP HQ brown bag lunch. I hit the wrong key. Sorry,
Jean
If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
