Our October meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 10, 2016, at Junior’s Sandwiches, 9347 North Main Street.  Meet, greet and eat is anywhere from 5:30 – 6:30 with the meeting starting at 6:30.

This month we will be discussing the Medical Marijuana amendment on the November ballot.  What is it, who will actually benefit, is there already an amendment covering this, why are certain attorney’s pushing this?

On October 22, Let Freedom Sing will be performing at the Lake City Medical Center for our wounded warriors.  Helen Chestnut is collecting much needed and appreciated items for those currently at the facility.  See flyer below for requested items that will be collected at Monday's meeting and distributed in gift bags after the LFS performance on the 22^nd.  There are 160 beds at the facility and the goal is to get a gift bag to each individual.  Can you help??? Bring your donation to the Monday night meeting.  If you can’t attend the meeting, and would like to donate, please drop your items off that night or you can contact me (982-9004) or Catherine Delre (973-517-4676) if you would like to drop items off with one of us.  Deadline for delivery is the 15^th to allow time to put the gift bags together.  Thank you for helping our wounded warriors and hopefully brightening their day.  You are welcome to attend as well.  We do have a 14 passenger van that will going and will be available on a first come, first serve basis.  Let me know if you would like a ride.  A donation for gas would be appreciated.

We will all be keeping our eyes on Matthew this weekend.  Hopefully it will take a westward turn and spare the U.S.  Keep safe and always be prepared.
