Our December meeting will be on Monday, December 13 at New Berlin Road Church, 2351 New Berlin Road.  Meet, greet and eat will be 5:30 – 6:30 with the meeting starting at 6:30.

Our speaker for December will be City Councilman and mayoral candidate Al Ferraro bringing us up to date on city council issues.  A Q&A will follow, so bring your questions about any issues or concerns.

In the spirit of Christmas, we will having a representative from Cup of Love Ministries sharing what their ministry does to serve the homeless here in Jacksonville.  We are asking for donations for items needed. 

The following is a list of things needed.  Since most of those they help are men, we are asking for items for them.  Hats, gloves, belts, socks, underwear, jackets, jeans/pants, blankets, sleeping bags, and towels.  So clean out those closets or visit local thrift stores for anything on this list. Other than underwear, all items do not need to be new.  If you are unable to attend the meeting, you can drop off items to my work.

Our dinner that evening will be pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, coleslaw, drinks and of course desserts all for $12.00!  Please RSVP to leaking55@comcast.net if you will eating so we can get a good count.

If you are able to arrive earlier, we will need help in setting up tables.

Remember we have a special election coming up on December 7 for City Council At Large-Group 3. Get out and VOTE.
