Petition To Stop Bill 2012-75 the Reappointment of Parvez Ahmed to the Jacksonville Human Rights Commission

We the undersigned

Oppose the reappointment of Parvez Ahmed for a multitude of reasons; however we are signing this petition opposing this reappointment and asking city council to vote NO for at least the following five reasons.

1.    Mr. Ahmed is the past national president of CAIR (Council of American Islamic Relations) which is directly linked to the Muslim Brotherhood, a Hamas (designated Islamic terrorist group) front group.
2. Mr. Ahmed Wants to repeal certain First Amendment rights by calling to “Ban free speech” by criminalizing any and all speech against Islam, Allah or Sharia law.
3.  Mr. Ahmed was formally halted from conducting "Islamic Sensitivity Training" to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and FBI in 2009.
4. MR. Ahmed has resumed teaching other groups “Islamic Sensitivity Training” while on HRC.
5. While Mr. Ahmed has been on the HRC, the commission brought the 2012 “Anti Discrimination bill” supporting gay rights as a human right, to the city council.
