The First Coast Tea Party has gone through some major organizational changes during the past six months.  We have new leadership and a clear and defined mission and goals.

 For example, the Research, Education and Writing team have a number of projects in the works.  The candidate research team has defined the candidates in Clay, St. Johns and Duval Counties and have people already assigned and working on this research.  The Education team has put together the Friday Fact program which will begin in the next couple of weeks

where you will see members from ALL the community groups out waving signs weekly in their respective communities.  The Writing team is putting together flyers to hand out whether you are canvassing neighborhoods or passing out to friends and neighbors.  The Events Team has planned out the rest of the year.  So much positive work is being done.

So what does this mean for the Small Business Owners' group? It means we are making some changes as well.

After three years, we felt it was time for some new  leadership for this group as well.  Jeff Burgess has agreed to take on that responsibility.  Michael, Patsy and I will still remain with this group and help in any way.  Jeff brings some new and fresh ideas to the table.  He has a great deal of enthusiasm and it is

quite contagious.  But we need you.  These next four months are critical, especially for the small businesses.  Together we can and will make a  difference.  When Patriots, like Jeff, are willing to step up and lead, please support those efforts.
