**REMINDER** You don't want to miss this meeting!!
With the big event on Friday - Friday NIght Live Tax Day Tea Party Rally - you may have missed the email about the Small Business Group meeting.
Our guest speaker, Carla Miller, recently spoke at the FCTP Southside Group and the information she shared was amazing. The purpose of the Ethics Office is to have a local ethics code that is effective; in plain English; not duplicative of any ixisting state ethics laws; and on that corresponds to documented risks/problems.
Please join us for a series of meetings beginning with our speaker for this upcoming meeting. It is imperative that we hold our elected officials to a highly ethical standard. As individual citizens as well as small business owners, we stand to have the greatest impact on our local government. However, if we expect it to be better, whether ethically, more transparent and more responsive, it is our responsibility to participate well beyond the election.
If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
