Ok, so who is the Tea Party backing for the Republican nomination? For President? I'm sure you all have done more reseach than I have, so I'd be interested in reading your opinions.

Well, Jack you've miss analyzed the whole thing again. First of all, the "pot heads" would have to take a bag of dope up to a cop, stand there in front of him rolling a joint, and then light it up, blow smoke in his face and beg him to arrest them before anyone would care. Pot just isn't a big deal anymore.
Most of Ron Paul supporters, myself included, have come to the only rational conclusion that Ron Paul is really the only candidate that is much different from from every other candidate in office. In other words, the only one that might ACTUALLY CHANGE SOMETHING from just continuing down the road of destruction. And that's why he can't get any traction. The misfits that claim to report the news, rather than make it up as they go along, will not give him exposure. And the mass media has already taken out any other Republicans that are not John McCain twins. Tell me again how well he did in 2008. If not for Sarah Palin, he probably wouldn't have gotten any votes at all outside his own family.
But you keep living in your fairy tale world Jack. Don't let facts change your opinion at all. It's much more entertaining seeing you comment from the stubborn opinion you won't release. Like a drowning man in the middle of the ocean hanging on to that little floating circle thinking surely an airplane 35,000 feet up will see it.

I don't drink but face it, with the american voter dumbed down to the point that they can not see what is going on Ron Paul never stood a chance. Take away all of the Pot Head followers he has behind him hoping to get drugs legalized and he wouldn't have even made the debates. Hate me if you want to but the fact is that he never had a chance given the current state of the american electorate. That being the case if you consider throwing away your vote a good thing to do, then that is your right. Its a shame that you can't even give respect to those who are actually on your side. I am so tired of the Ron Paul bullshit that if he retired and never ran for any public office again I wouldn't be happier. All the pointless retoric coming from his followers has soured the whole process.
John, you obviously do not understand what do not reply or respond to anything I post means. So unless you want this to get really personal and really nasty I would suggest you figure out what it means really quick.

The epitome of dumbed down has spoken...
Ken, I haven't miss analyzed a thing. Ron Paul doesn't have a chance and never did. At one point I was actually agreeing with all of the cult family members on here but they were to stupid to realize it. If he can't even get into double digits in any of the state primaries, you can pretty much write him off. But if it makes you feel better go ahead and stay in your fantasy land and see where it gets you. And now Im so tired of their ignorant rantings that I would be happy if he went ahead and dropped out and we never had to hear his name again. If it wasn't for his druggy and fanatical followers he wouldn't have even gotten the 1% needed to make the debates.
Like it or not, we are going to get Romney.........
Jack, Like I said, you've miss analyzed the whole thing. By the way, I am personally offended by being lumped into a "cult member", as I would imagine a lot of other people would be. Your ignorance on the matter is surpassed only by your lack of intellect. And if you are content to allow others to choose who you can or cannot vote for, then that is a very sad thing. If you think any one of the other three will do anything different than OBozo, or any of the last few presidents in stopping this country from its ruinous path, then you really need to pull your head out and get some fresh air with some oxygen in it. Otherwise, you may be mistaken for some of that algae the idiot in chief wants to fuel our nation with!
Ron Paul doesn't have a chance and never did because of people like you who believe anything the mainstream media tell them. The fact is that Ron Paul can do something the others cannot. Attract disenfranchised Democrats and grab the biggest share of independents. That means winning the main prize. Which is supposed to be what this is all about. If a Republican wins in November, and it's a pretty big IF, it will be because of the protest vote, not because they are necessarily any better than what's in the White House now or any more desired.

Hannity I would guess. Then again, most of the pundits get something in their head and won't let go. I had to laugh when Joseph Farrah was on Hannity and told him that Marco Rubio wasn't qualified to be VP and Hannity about went into shock. Last night I didn't get to O'Really quick enough to shut him off and heard him once again blame the "speculators" on the price of Gasoline. I watch Neil Cavuto argue with the dim wit for 20 minutes one night attempting to teach or inform O'Really on how the markets work. No way. He's not getting confused by the facts. These people who have never learned how to think drive me nuts!

I'd say he gets his info from the likes of Rush, Hannity and Boortz...
You can tell by his comments. Just redundant pundit...

Are you serious? Democrates and independents? He cant even get the conservative republicans. I LIKE RON PAUL but you obviously just dont get it.......he is not going to get the nomination and without it he has no chance of winning. I don't like Romney and cant stand the fact that he is being rammed down our throats but it is what it is and all of you Ron Paul fanatics just don't get it. Vote for whoever you want to I don't care, when Obama gets elected to another term it wont be because I didn't vote against him. I would even vote for John if he were to get the nomination before I would vote for Obama but since John is a convicted felon who doesn't have the right to vote or hold public office then I guess I will have to vote for Romney once he gets the nomination.
The only reason Ron Paul never had a chance is because of his weak foreign policy and his isolationist views. I personally think he would be a great president but he never had a chance of getting the nomination. It has nothing to do with "people" like me. The thing I hate most about RP is his followers, they can't communicate logically or debate rationally. If you dont agree with them or his policies then you are called an idiot, stupid, uninformed etc etc etc...................... I may not agree with you or John but I respect your opinions and your comments, well yours anyways because John no longer deserves my respect and really never did.
John, I don't really care what you call me............I have to consider the source, coming from a woman/wife beating felon/murderer who is half a world away trying to run from his exwife and his child support, your opinion really doesn't mean much to me and considering you don't even have the right to vote your political opinion really doesn't mean anything to me.............................so go ahead and post whatever you want to since you feel the need to continue to try and belittle/disrespect me after I privately asked you not to. Up until recently I considered you my older brother, now I just consider you to be an jerk, one who found god in prison and now thinks that he is better than everyone else especially those who know who he really is and cared about him anyways. I have plenty of friends I don't need any as worthless as you.
Ron Paul doesn't have a chance and never really did...................accept it, don't accept it, I couldn't really care less.
Well, Jack, that's what I mean. You have no understanding of Ron Paul's foreign policy positions, you just repeat what the mass media has told you. This is apparent because you keep repeating a falsehood. And for your edification, I wasn't a Ron Paul supporter until after it became apparent we were going to get Romney shoved down or throats or worse Santorum. "Ron Paul never stood a chance" because idiots never gave him one. But the same people who wouldn't listen to him are the ones who gave us John McCain four years ago. How well did that work? Had it not been for Sarah Palin, he probably wouldn't have gotten any votes at all. Meanwhile OBozo is as happy as a clam in mud because he knows with Romney he has the best possible chance of winning a second term. And also, how many had an opportunity to vote for Herman Cain? Was he ever convicted of anything? Did he ever have his day in court? No! The LameBrain Media took him out. Too dangerous and he would prevent OBozo from playing the race card.
You are being played for a fool Jack. But don't feel bad. You have a lot of company. All the Country Club Republicans are there with you. Personally, I will stand on principle this election. I will not vote for the "lesser of two evils" for to vote for the lesser evil is still voting for evil. If there is no one worthy of the office of the president I will not vote for anyone. But I am reasonably sure there will be someone worthy. Just not in the Republican or Democrat tickets. So if OBozo gets four more years, blame the Country Club Republicans.....and yourself since you helped create the situation.

Same likewise............... when you want to persuade people in a conversation and/or debate, you don't disrespect their opinions, call them names and attack them personally. Especially those that agree with you in principle but who can see the reality of the situation.
The other thing that everyone seems to overlook is all the Republican Primaries and Caucus events that Democrats are allowed to participate in. Now that's really the way to pick a nominee isn't it? Let the opposition have a voice and a say in who they get to oppose!!! Can there really be any doubt as to who the Democrats think will be the easiest to beat? Illinois just had the lowest voter turnout in history. Yeah, the Republican voters are really energized by these candidates! This election is for the Republicans to lose, and so far, they are doing a really bang up job of it.

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets. It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.
You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
