Ok, so who is the Tea Party backing for the Republican nomination? For President? I'm sure you all have done more reseach than I have, so I'd be interested in reading your opinions.

Those who are willing to settle for anything (anyone) will likely get nothing.  Romney is that nothing.  Like McLame, he will lose to OBozo.  Sara Palin won't get him any votes like she did McLame.

Why should I support a candidate who's ideas I do not support? And as far as being a Mormon goes, I do have an issue there also. It's a personal one that I cannot support!

It's my belief that this kind of thinking is symptomatic of the problem...  "think that some magical candidate will suddenly appear and that we'll all sail to the sunset together after Obama loses? "

Throw in the towel and accept the scraps they throw us...

It's silly to hear some conservatives say that they won't support Romney because he's too liberal, or he's a mormon. Do these people really think that some magical candidate will suddenly appear and that we'll all sail to the sunset together after Obama loses?  Nope- ain't gonna happen. Romney will be the vehicle we ride from here on out until November.

Never take your eye of the goal; that is, to unseat the Socialist-in-chief. Anything else is secondary, and minor.

Lets stop and reflect back to George Washington's Farewell Address of 1796

In George Washington’s Farewell Address of 1796,  he actually warned against the party system we now have.  He feared that it would be used to divide and manipulate us.

As parents, we quickly learn that most two year olds will say no to just about anything.  As a result we learn not to ask or even tell them to put their gloves on.  We, instead, say, “do you want to wear the red gloves or the blue ones.”  The child is none the wiser for the fact that he has just been manipulated. Such is how our two party system now treats us…do you want this evil choice or this lesser evil of the two evils?

-

If we are going to ever break the two party system shekels, we are going to have to be willing to choose options that the establishment has brainwashed us  into thinking are not options.

Roma, have you joined the research and education team?  You should be there.

Thank you Peggy for the complement.  I was on that team, and one of the election's vetting team...put in many hours.  But, in the end it was a waste of our time, because the research results were never used.  I find my time better served on blogs where it does not get censored so regularly.

Exactly the way I feel about it.  If Romney is any better at all, it's marginal at best.

I'd rather have a quick death by firing squad than floating in the ocean with a "life preserver" watching the shark fins circling!  Romney bought this nomination if he he gets it.  Anyone looking at the voting stats can plainly see that the "Anybody but Romney" won almost every primary.  The Country Club Republicans just refuse to learn from previous mistakes, and now we have the Tea Party helping them!  What a waste.

this is something that really caught me by surprise recently, and wondered if any of you had heard about it before.

The following was announced briefly on Fox News, so I looked up to learn more:

the U.S. State Department on Friday said 13 foreign workers — six of them U.S. citizens — had left Egypt on a private plane. The amount of bail paid for the U.S. citizens was set at about $330,000 each.

The State Department declined to name the people, some of whom worked for the IRI and the National Democratic Institute,  Read more here: http://af.reuters.com/article/topNews/idAFJOE82201T20120303

I did not know there was such a thing as the IRI and NDI…did you?

Although officially nonpartisan, IRI is closely aligned with the Republican Party, just as its sister organization, the National Democratic Institute (NDI), is aligned with the Democratic Party. Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) has served as IRI chairman since 1993, and Lorne Craner, the former assistant secretary of state for democracy and human rights and labor in the George W. Bush administration, is IRI’s president.

The IRI is the indirect product of the democratic globalism efforts of the AFL-CIO, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and the two main U.S. political parties.[16] In 1982, President Ronald Reagan proposed a new organization to promote free-market democracies around the world, the NED. In 1983, Congress approved the creation of NED, which was funded primarily through the U.S. Information Agency (USIA) and secondarily through the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). Designed as a bipartisan institution, NED channels U.S. government funding through four core grantees: IRI, NDI, the Center for International Private Enterprise, and the Solidarity Center (the AFL-CIO’s international operations institute).[17]

The IRI has expanded greatly in recent years. Its 2008 budget was about $78 million, with programs in some 60 countries.  Read full article here:   http://rightweb.irc-online.org/profile/International_Republican_Ins...

The IRI and NDI are both part of the United Nations: IRI works to advance freedom and democracy worldwide by developing political parties; civic institutions; open elections; good governance; and the rule of law.  Read more about this statement at this link: http://www.unausa.org/page.aspx?pid=411

This explains

  • why Countries are angry, but they should direct their anger at the U.N. our politicians and ultimately the Federal Reserve instead of the American people.
  • why their is so much chaos all over the world.  Our Founders were against democracy, and said it lead to chaos and mob rule
  • we do not have two parties....we have one under the U.N./ Federal Reserve, and that is why they vote the same even though they talk differently

I was not aware of any of this, but why am I not surprised that John McLame is the head moron.

I agree with you on everything except the comment that countries should direct their anger at everyone but the American people.  We, the American People are in charge.  And doing a piss poor job of it.  Everyone that you list that deserves the blame works for us.  We are their employers.  We need to fire them.  And the only way to fire them is dump the two party system, or at least the two parties currently in charge of this mess.  Just switching back and forth between two heads on the same dragon will get us no where other than a gulag of our own!

By golly I think she's right!

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
