Here is the quote from Ayn Rand related to my statement above:

Ayn Rand

"There are two sides to every issue: one side is right and the other is wrong, but the middle is always evil. The man who is wrong still retains some respect for truth, if only by accepting the responsibility of choice. But the man in the middle is the knave who blanks out the truth in order to pretend that no choice or values exist, who is willing to sit out the course of any battle, willing to cash in on the blood of the innocent or to crawl on his belly to the guilty, who dispenses justice by condemning both the robber and the robbed to jail, who solves conflicts by ordering the thinker and the fool to meet each other halfway. In any compromise between food and poison, it is only death that can win. In any compromise between good and evil, it is only evil that can profit. In that transfusion of blood which drains the good to feed the evil, the compromiser is the transmitting rubber tube . . .

When men reduce their virtues to the approximate, then evil acquires the force of an absolute, when loyalty to an unyielding purpose is dropped by the virtuous, it’s picked up by scoundrels—and you get the indecent spectacle of a cringing, bargaining, traitorous good and a self-righteously uncompromising evil."
So the discussion should not be about which side is more right.  It needs to be about what is best for this Country.
The problem with most of the plans on both sides is depicted here (government assistance is like receiving the grass after it passes through the pig)
Once the money is taken from us in the form of taxes, and runs through the IRS and various departments, only a small percentage actually benefits the People...most of it supports the bureaucracy.  The best plan does not take it from the people in the first place.
If you think the government is more trustworthy and capable of taking care of the poor, history proves you wrong.  Who do you think took care of one another before government began taxing us so heavily?  It was families, neighbors and parents, and they did a much better job (see the theft mentioned above of the peoples funds, and that is the tip of the iceburg).

I am going to be working very hard to ensure that Obama is a one term President.

Why?

First, the man was a demagogue in 2008 and he will still be a demagogue in 2012. Demogogues are the worst sort of leader in a republican/democratic system of government.  They use their charm and charisma to make false claims and false promises in order to gain power.  Remember hope and change?  How's that working for out-of-work Americans?  Once a demagogue gets into a position of power, then they use that power to consolidate their position and destroy their political enemies.  Demogogues could care less about the electorate only their power.

Second, the man is still not qualified to be President after three years of on-the-job training!  Obama has no concept of basic economics, no ability to dealt sensibly with foreign nations, and gives no evidence that he really gives a damn about anyone but himself.  That Harvard education was wasted on him.  He is what I call an educated idiot -- and Washington is full of both Republicans and Democrats who are also educated idiots.

Third, this man is steering the ship of state onto the shoals of economic destruction.  America, the ship, is sailing through hurricane force winds and we need an experienced helmsman at the wheel, not an apprentice seaman.  We can't afford four more years of Obama, because the ship will go down with all hands.

Fourth, the so-called "jobs" bill Obama touted is exactly the wrong approach.  Small business do most of the hiring in this country and Obama never addressed a comprehensive approach to make it easier for small businesses to expand and hire more people. The small businessmen that I talk to have no confidence anything is going to get better in the near future.  That translates into very little expansion and very little growth.  Jobs are not going to happen until confidence in the economy returns.

The only reason people are attracted to the Republicans is because they are the only ones with the infrastructure to unseat Obama. While it is true that both parties have participated in the undoing of this country, our choice today is "bad" or "worse". I'll hold my nose and vote for "bad".

Bioyal,

Here is what Ayn Rand said about voting for the lesser of two evils:

Lee, you are wrong about the jobs bill there is monies set aside for small business tax breaks, also hope and change stopped when the Republican Tea Party and all who took an oath to Groover Norqueist.  The problem is that these silly Republicans have set their sights on making Obama a one term President and not on working for the people who put these crazies in office.  Ohio, Kentucky and noe Wisconsion have and are speaking out on the real worthlessness of this new so-called Republican party by reversing their power in the booth.  In your state alone 1/3 are homeless what is the First Coast Tea Party doing about that, meeting with Newt Gringinch.  So while you are trying to remove a Persident who is trying to create jobs look at the wrong choices you have in the Republican Party.  Why would you take out of your own mouth, you work everyday, you have to feed your family so on and so on, Oh you must be the 1%, if not why do you fight so hard to represent them.

Dwayne,

I said a comprehensive approach towards small businesses.  Obama's "jobs" bill doesn't even begin to approach being comprehensive.  A few tax breaks does not constitute a comprehensive approach!  Obama needs to recognize that the federal government and its bloated bureaucracy is the problem and unnecessarily gets in the way of doing business in this country.  Both Republicans and Democrats need to understand that.

In case you didn't know, the 1% also includes small businesses.  If the 1% primarily hires among the 99%, then for whom is the 99% going to work?  The occupy numbskulls do not understand how business works in this country.  The occupy wall street idiots trashed the small businesses surrounding Zucotti Park and the owners had to temporarily lay off employees because customers did not want to run the gauntlet of unwashed losers.

Is this the 99% you support?  Did you also support the thugs who began assaulting women and stealing gear belonging to others in Zucotti Park?  Did you also support the few who controlled the $500,000 in donations and decided to stay in four star hotels because it was beneath them to stay in a tent?  What hipocrasy!

Dwayne, any Republican out there is going to be a better President than the person who now occupies the White House.  I don't see any Democrats opposing Obama.  If there were a credible conservative Democrat running against Obama, then I would consider supporting that person.  However, the phrase "conservative Democrat" has become a contradiction in terms.

Dwane,  compared to the rest of the world you are the one percent, and your wealth (thanks to Obama, Bush, Clinton and others)  is being shared with the rest of the World.  ..bailouts to Foreign Countries, and foreign banks which is touted as helping poor countries. However, as Ron Paul Says,  "it  is taking money from the poor people of rich countries, and giving it to the rich people in poor Countries."

Agenda 21 which was supported by Bush, Clinton and Obama :

"Simply put, the implementation of these ideas gave the Western world our financial meltdown because, again, the hidden agenda was wealth distribution. The banks that "failed" were doing what government had, in some cases, demanded — giving loans to the underserved communities (under the CRA). Even without being forced to do this, banks learned from example that doing this would bring the blessings of the government. Sure enough, the bankers got juicy bailouts for being irresponsible! Oh, and the poor? Many of those who got loans they obviously couldn't afford lost their homes."

If that sounds far fetched, just look at the IMF and WTO websites, and they say they are for a "One World Governance", but it does not benefit the poor of any country...it benefits the elite.

Global Governance Defined By The IMF (on their website)

Towards Global Governance By The WTO(on their website)

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
