Congressional Reform Act of 2011

The 26th amendment (granting the right to vote for 18 year-olds) took only 3 months & 8 days to be ratified!  Why?  Simple!  The people demanded it.  That was in 1971...before computers, before e-mail, before cell phones, etc.

 

 Of the 27 amendments to the Constitution, seven (7) took 1 year or less to become the law of the land...all because of public pressure.

Leadership Lessons

As the ground swell of the Tea Party movement since it's start has been a pretty amazing phenom it is very important to keep focused on the goal and not get caught up in where we started and how far it has come, but instead where we are going.

We do not go to or watch Sean Penn movies, buy Progressive Insurance, do business with General Electric or own their stock and the like.…

You sent a friend request on June 1. It must be after I spouted off about special district seats in Florida having no candidates running the the people will then be appointed by the existing boards that are usually developer controlled. That is thanks to FS 189 and 190 that allowed these taxing special districts to be formed in Florida. I have accepted but I did not know this Tea Party Page was like Facebook until today - I still am a newbie on Facebook - just don't have the time to learn it properly.
