Notice to all military and their families!

Below is an article from The Heritage Foundation concerning the Commander-in-Chief's refusal to pay the military if the federal government shuts down:

For military families - I hope those of you who voted for Obama remember this the next time you go into the voting booth~

Clay county teachers' union

i saw a group of red-shirted teachers' union members storming noisily out of the Clay County School Board meeting chanting in unison "Work-to-the-clock! Work-to-the-clock!"

As a teacher of over 10 years now, I think teachers are of as much value - if not MORE so - as air traffic controllers.  And in that spirit of appreciation, i think we need a Ronald Reagan-style leader in Clay county political leadership.

I commend the mature, honest remarks made by…

Florida's Amendment 4 and the "Modern Progressive" Movement

Lord Acton, made famous by his "absolute power corrupts absolutely" is also the author of the less-well known observation that "Few discoveries are more irritating than those which expose the pedigree of ideas."

And the discovery of the pedigree or historical roots of Amendment 4 will certainly rouse the ire of those who self-label themselves as "… Continue

Constitutional revision in Clay County

Last night in Clay County, one industry lost while another industry won in the battle to carve out protection for their industry in the county charter. The rogue Charter Review

Commission voted 8 – 6 to reject a charter amendment to increase the hours for

sale of alcoholic beverages on Sunday, then turned around and voted 8 – 6 to

approve a petition to be on the November ballot to increase gambling in Clay

County.…

Hi Tom, Have you started your classes? I had responded to your friend request previously and I guess that there may have been a software glitch as I never received any further correspondence from you. Let me know how things are progressing and I look forward to meeting you in person one of these days soon. 904-327-1202

Wow, Tom. I am truly impressed and would love to have you speak. The timeliness of your message is the most striking thing, because the tea party is going to be attempting to get members out to walk neighborhoods and ask people to vote in the primaries and we will have people out again before the elections in November. Your message could help inspire people and right now, we need to be inspired and understand that even after the last 2 years, we must fight even harder. We meet on July 13th, and I have fair tax coming already, but if you were able to come, I know we would still have plenty of time to hear you speak and ask questions. I plan to bring up neighborhood walks that night to get the vote out for the primaries. Do you think you might be able to come? We meet at the University North Branch of the library at 3435 University N. at 6:30 PM. I know it is quite a drive for you from Fleming Island though. I just now noticed you message on my page, and am sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. Pat McBride, Arlington Group

Hi Tom,
What do you speak on? I am working on July and August right now and may be doing something with the Arlington Group about the Jacksonville Budget and City Council etc in July.

Look forward to hearing from you.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
