Even if we are getting the runaround from Scott and Haridopolus and the "powers that be", we need to put the pressure on these guys to pass ethics reforms.  We have the power to hold these guys to it.

Student loan debt is more than consumer debt.  Most of it is backed by the government; it cannot be defaulted through bankruptcy.  Looks like a big mess coming around the corner.  Here we go again.

This is a bill he co-sponsored. Given the recent blog posts about city ethics laws, I thought this was appropriate to re-post. Given his "book deal", he may wish to pass on any ethics reform in the state legislature.
