I was a life long independent and had allegiance to NO GROUP at all. I changed parties to vote for Rubio in the primaries. I still am pretty much a free thinker Roma, and I plan to remain that way :). I agree that we have many elitist politicians on both sides of the isle, and we do need to get rid of them. Many suggest that term limits would solve a lot of issues (no empire forming if you can only be there for a couple of terms and folks might actually do the right thing if they have to earn a living just like the rest of us). I think if we can get someone in to start dismantling the mess, we will at least be headed in the right direction................and yes, I am truly anti incumbent. I want anyone who has been in DC for more than 10 years gone and that means both parties.

I am for smaller government, but I also understand that the current president can not get re-elected if we are to save this country.  That said, I plan to support the republican candidate for president  and republicans for other seats in the congress where a democrat may currently be seated.  I do not consider voting for someone who can't win the election as an option, and for those who do, they might as well go in and vote for Obama, because that is basically what the result will be.  This is just my opinion though, and everyone certainly has a right to their own opinion.  It certainly does not mean that I don't favor smaller government and less intrusive government, it means that I want Obama out and will do what I feel will accomplish that goal.  We did not get where we are in 4 years, and we will not get back to where we have to be in 4 years either, but we need someone who will start the process, and we must keep folks educated and engaged if we are to continue the process moving back towards something that more resembles what the founders had in mind.

Roma,

Sorry but I was in and out yesterday and aside from posting a couple of articles and a few other on line tasks, I wasn't blogging in any meaningful way.  I don't like the NDAA any more than you do or some of the executive orders that also violate the constitution, and yes, I think our congress is well past thinking of their job the way it was actually meant to be.  They make laws for themselves and truly see themselves as a group apart from the rest of the folks they steal money from to run all thier over the top programs which do nothing more than bribe people to vote for them.  The answer is perhaps to set term limits however we have to do that to get it done, take away their retirement pay thereafter since they will only be there for 2 terms and will have to find something else for the life's work instead of sitting in Washington making laws etc that violate our constitution and the bill of rights.

Patricia we are in a battle to save what is remaining of ths USA. So many of our young folks 15-50 have no clue as to what is going on. Some do but it is now cool to be aligned with the Liberal Democrat Party.

More cool to be for a President that has a clear cut path to bring this Country to its knees. The "Occupy" group would follow this line of thinking. Ask those begging to be part of the USA. Why are millions all over the world wanting to move here. Soon there may no longer anyone like us to hold the America haters off then America has died. To many indifferent individulas do not bother to vote or study the issues.

I had seen this a while back.  It is a real tell, isn't it?  But through this president's actions and those of the democratic congress that has been in charge, there is not mistaking that Mr. Thomas' words are very true!

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
