460,000 more Florida voters cast ballots than in 2006

I see this as problematic especially in light of amendments 5 and 6 passing thanks to the Acorn affiliates getting them on the ballot, I think we may have a real fight on our hands next time around to keep government small and taxes low. In some quarters, there is much celebrating over these 2 amendments passing.

Nearly 460,000 more Floridians cast ballots during this year's gubernatorial race than in 2006.

That includes 341,849 more votes for the Democrat, 68,570 more for the Republican and a combined 49,170 more for non-major party candidates.

Sink, the Democrat, got 341,849 more votes than Jim Davis, that party's 2006 nominee, in a year where state Republicans picked up super majorities in both the state House and Senate, and elected Republican Marco Rubio to the U.S. Senate with 48.9 percent of the vote in a three-way race.
