A note about hollow point bullets.
Government orders for hollow point bullets have been highlighted on the internet recently (MSM won't mention it). I blogged about it when I first heard about the order of 4.5 million rounds for Homeland Security.
I remember a conversation I had with a fellow many years back where he mentioned that a standard bullet could easily exit the target if all it hits is soft tissue. The exiting bullet can damage anything behind the original target causing collateral damage.
Hollow points will fragment on entry, even into soft tissue, and will most likely not exit the target. This point (no pun intended) is important in an urban environment where bystanders are in the vicinity. It reduces the rusk of collateral damage in tight quarters.
The question remains: Does this government know the difference between violent radicals like the Black Panthers and American patriots like the tea party? Sebelius and Holder referred to Tea Partiers, returning war veterans, the religious right and prepers as domestic terrorists.
With this information in hand, the hollow points don't disturb me, it is the quantity of orders that is worrisome.
In 1968 Mayor Richard Hatcher took office as the first black mayor of Gary, Indiana. He had a black gang called the Kangaroos as his enforcement arm. Within 5 years he had destroyed the thriving steel making city, reducing the city and its reputation to the skeleton and joke it is today. I lived in Gary from 1951 to 1971.

Ah yes, FLETEC.
I have been inside FLETEC. I was there on business and had several opportunities to drive around the facility and go inside some of the buildings where training was in progress. In the first place, anyone who carries a weapon must take it inside the security area at the gate and physically unload the weapon in front of a security officer. Your vehicle is given a visual inspection before you are allowed to enter and you must have formal permission to enter with valid identification.
The place does training primarily for federal law enforcement and, yes, they have a firing range. They do weapons training as well as physical fitness training. Nothing unusual about the place at all as far as I could tell.

Amanda, You have apparently been affected by the disinformation broadcasts by the Obama FCC operated HARP broadcasts. I suggest that you sit under a pyramid wearing a tin foil hat in order to protect yourself from the radio waves that prevent you from seeing obvious truth in all the conspiracy theories that are coming light in these last days. The Bilderburgs are now operating Area 51 to bring in extra-terrestrials to work the polls in November, and only remotely operated mind control broadcasts are preventing you from realizing it!!!

The British tryed in the 1700's to make SLAVES of a people who wish to be free.
One only has to Look at OBAMA'S History 1995- Current , He is a British Subject , This is as close to a Citizen as he has yet to reveal. You might wish to research a News Article, appx 1996 OBAMA Traveled with another Political figure to Moscow, Russia. They were Detained for appx. three hours while the KBG investigated him as a possible British SPY. THIS EVENT CREATED AN INTERNATIONAL CRISIS FOR MOST OF THE AFTERNOON. His Fellow Traveler was a Republican who was in office then and is still in office, (regretfully) Hopefully we will soon get be relieved by removing them both from all political power.

The Social Security Dept. as well as many other Agencies under the direction and outside of Congressional review and Approval has been ordered to purchase with Tax Dollars, like Hugh amounts of ammunition as well as explosives such as C-4. This is not the first time in History this was suspious of the ruling elite such as King George. He ordered the Red Coats to do pillage of the powder and ball, rendering the Soon to be AMERICAN'S helpless in their attempt to overthrow the tryannical Government of the time. How well we know they caught on quickly, and the rest is History. We may be seeing the STEALTH removal of our SECOND Amendment rights in Action. More to follow next post.

FLETC is actually north of Brunswick though. It is the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, for those who are unaware. I have business and friends in Brunswick, from time to time and drive by the center and you hear tires squealing, automatic gunfire, flashbangs, anything you can imagine. Pretty cool. Never have I felt like I was their next person of interest.
John, I am sorry for you that you have this pervasive fear of the government.
