Government orders for hollow point bullets have been highlighted on the internet recently (MSM won't mention it). I blogged about it when I first heard about the order of 4.5 million rounds for Homeland Security.

I remember a conversation I had with a fellow many years back where he mentioned that a standard bullet could easily exit the target if all it hits is soft tissue. The exiting bullet can damage anything behind the original target causing collateral damage.

Hollow points will fragment on entry, even into soft tissue, and will most likely not exit the target. This point (no pun intended) is important in an urban environment where bystanders are in the vicinity. It reduces the rusk of collateral damage in tight quarters.

The question remains: Does this government know the difference between violent radicals like the Black Panthers and American patriots like the tea party? Sebelius and Holder referred to Tea Partiers, returning war veterans, the religious right and prepers as domestic terrorists.

With this information in hand, the hollow points don't disturb me, it is the quantity of orders that is worrisome.

In 1968 Mayor Richard Hatcher took office as the first black mayor of Gary, Indiana. He had a black gang called the Kangaroos as his enforcement arm. Within 5 years he had destroyed the thriving steel making city, reducing the city and its reputation to the skeleton and joke it is today. I lived in Gary from 1951 to 1971.

The Jacksons left during Hatcher's years, not "long before 1968".

I have been by FLETC Southof Brunswick many times. All I heard was road noise as I drove by. Before Hatcher was elected I was able to walk from the Palace Theater on 7th Avenue downtown to my home in Glen Park at 48th Connecticut safely. I enjoyed the summer picnics grounds on 49th Avenue. After Hatcher was elected all that shut down and scattered to Merrillville and Crown Point. I'm reminiscing. When did you live there?

If you have ever been near FLETC in Brunswick, the 4.5 million rounds would not seem like alot. Lots of training rounds for federal law enforcement. Think that armed insurrection has low probability. Armed internment, even less.

Gary was done long before 1968.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
