Last autumn the OPSR (Obama Pajama Socialist Regime) orchestrated town hall meetings coast-to-coast. The idea was for liberals to show up and express their support for socialized healthcare, deficit spending and government takeovers. These would be political theatres wherein liberals would show overwhelming support for Obama’s policies and the press would splatter the love fest all over the national news. The stage was set when left-wing extremists like Nasty Pelosi and other Democrats stated that anyone opposing Obama is a “racist”, and even called the Tea Party and others on the political right “brown shirts” – which is of course a reference to the Nazis.
Of course when the curtain rose and the actors took the stage they were shocked when the town hall meetings were attended by mainly patriotic Americans that were outraged with the OPSR and their socialism, specifically healthcare. There was very little coverage by the mainstream media because it was obvious that Americans were overwhelmingly against socialism, and they opposed the OPSR by a very large percentage. Rather than demonstrating that conservatives were a few Nazi extremists like they had hoped, the meetings showed that people supporting socialism are a minority. The White House admitted that the meetings were overwhelmingly “heated”. But, they still insist that’s because the public is “misinformed” about the benefits of socialism.
Attached is a video clip from a town hall meeting of Rep. Baird, who is one of the liberals that used the “brown shirt” verbiage to describe politically conservative Americans. Oh, and a U.S. Marine veteran shows up at the town hall meeting to share his opinion…
