ACTION ALERT: From NEFPACC Coordinator Debbie Higginbotham on Common Core

Ok Northeast Florida Parents Against Common Core, we need to step it up a bit. The Education committees are going to start meeting the week of September 23. We need to start making phone calls to all of them and let them know we want Debbie Mayfield's bill (HR25) to be heard. We want to hold them accountable and let them know we support Debbie Mayfield. If we keep speaking up and different people then they will have to listen! Visit the following links to get the list of reps who are on the education committees.
The key is Janet Adkins, who is from Atlantic Beach area, she is the chair of the K-12 Committee and we need to pressure her to hear Mayfield's bill. Janet herself is not fully educated on this.
Both houses have their Education Committees so try and call someone from both each day. John Legg of the Senate Committee is very much against us fighting this. He wants us to go away and shut up. No chance!
We are also in the process of organizing protests at select legislatures offices across the state. I will give more details on that as I get it. I appreciate your support in this fight and we MUST keep going. If you have any questions please let me know.
 Thanks,
 Debbie Higginbotham
