ACTION ITEM: ADDITIONAL HRO CITY COUNCIL MEETING TOMORROW. ??. ATTENTION PLEASE.

Credit: DefendJaxFamilies

I have done a copy/paste on this communication due to the fact that I just received it and due to the urgency of the information.

THIS MEETING IS
EXTREMELY IMPORTANT ! !

Last week in Tallahassee, this issue was silenced in
the sub-committees on both the Senate and House sides
(but not after some sneak legislative moves were thwarted).

Two weeks ago in Palm Bay, this issue was quashed
by their City Council............

They are losing and are desperate. The process was
intended to be three meetings but there may be an
attempt to short circuit it and railroad HRO through.

I am attaching articles from the last 10 days that show
the tide of this battle to be turning.

LAW MAKERS HAVE SEEN AND BEEN CRITICAL
OF THE LOW RESPONSE/TURNOUT
FROM THOSE WHO OF US WHO OPPOSE THE HRO..........

YOU ARE NEEDED.
YOUR FAMILY IS NEEDED.
YOUR FRIENDS ARE NEEDED.
ALL THE PEOPLE ON YOUR EMAIL LISTS ARE NEEDED....past it on!!!!

Taking A Stand For Families in Duval County Florida

Please Attend These
City Council Meetings
Feb 18 3-6pm 1 hr Public Input
Mar 03 3-6pm 1 hr Public Input

Urgent, Be There! Just Announced: At 6pm Thursday, February 18 there will be a SECOND City Council meeting which could pass either ordinance.
Location: City Hall on Hemming Park, downtown.

Dear Duval County Families,

This is URGENT. Please forward this email to others.
If you oppose the LGBT preference law, your help is needed by attending two special City Council meetings, listed in the table above.

Urgent Action Needed
We must pack the meetings, or Council members will think we don’t care. The meeting dates are in the table. More about the meetings here.
This law will affect the Beach cities and Baldwin, not just Jacksonville.
If the LGBT law can’t be stopped in City Council, we want a Public referendum.
Unless we try our best now, just 10 City Council members will force a LGBT favoritism law upon all of Duval County.
This law will restrict Free Speech and religious liberties and will allow men, claiming to be women, to enter women’s and children’s dormitories, and dressing, locker and rest rooms – to view them in all stages of undress.

What Each Of Us Can Do
● Attend Two Meetings. Attend the Council meetings. And, make every effort to stay until the 6pm end. It looks bad if we leave early.
● Be A Speaker. Give a 1½ minute presentation – We have had too few speakers. Below are some topics to consider. There are many more topics here;

http://www.defendjaxfamilies.com/why-this-law-is-not-justified.html

find one and prepare notes:

  Why the law is not needed;
  Why the economy does not need this law;
How the rights to Privacy and Modesty of women and girls will be abolished;
  How Religious rights and Free Speech rights will be curbed;
This law grants special rights to LGBTs, not “equal rights”.

Other Critical Needs

There are additional ways to help. A Public referendum is very likely, so we need office space, volunteers and funding.
● We Need Volunteers. Please sign up to offer your time or office space here.

http://www.defendjaxfamilies.com/volunteers-needed.html

● Help Fund the Campaign. And please urge friends to donate here.

http://www.defendjaxfamilies.com/donate-please-help-us.html

They will understand that it takes funding to fight this battle: Printing, legal work, phone banks, office space, etc.
● Forward This Letter. Email it to as many like-minded people as possible.

We look forward to seeing you at the next Council meeting. Send any questions to DefendJaxFamilies@gmail.com.

Finally, we have not been idle. View the video of the press conference which followed our February 04 strategy luncheon with more than 170 local pastors.

And, meet our legal team here.

Our key ally, the Florida Family Policy Council,

was our partner for these events.

You’re needed at the Council meetings. Please forward this letter to others.

Went to the 3pm - 6pm meeting.

Didn't stick around for the second meeting because it seemed the only purpose was for some TV media time for council members and for both sides to get on TV screaming and waving signs time.

It was a media event.

Might attend if someone in this city and government knew WTH was going on as to meeting content and times.

Conflicting information abounds.  Sounds like a political ploy to me.

I did not attach the notes from the last 10 days as indicated in the above.. Not needed for this action at this time.

 I realize the there appears to be some question about the second meeting as the times are somewhat confusing in the above communication. If anyone can confirm the time of the second meeting please do so and indicate any information in the comment field here. By all accounts it looks like there may be a 6PM meeting or the one at 3 which appeared to be short may be extended.. I am sorry that I cannot provide more solid information at this late time.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
