Senator Legg and Representative Marlene O’Toole refused to allow hearings on SB 1018 and HB 899 (Instructional Materials for K-12 Public Education). They believe they know better about instructional materials for your children and grandchildren.
Call and then send them a message. Let them know that we all believe in local control for our schools and that we all want decisions made at the local level by parents, teachers and school boards.
Tell them you are disappointed.
At the same time, let them know you are not defeated.
