American Thinker: Will Obama Keep Power 'by Any Means Necessary'?

Very scary, but you better read, because I for one have wondered in some nstances.  I know Obama would love to get all those young Mexicans he is giving amnesty to into the polls on November 6.  Although we here in Florida have been making huge strides to clean up voter registers and do require ID, many states like California do not require ID and even encourage people to commit voter fraud just by virtue of the system they use.  There in lies the reason Obama wanted to get rid of the electoral college, so he could just count popular vote which would include all the fraudulent votes from the states who have representatives who support this arrogant dictator in chief and all his far left radical ideas for destroying this country and everything we hold dear.  You might want to pop over to some of the articles this timely piece links to as there is definitely reason to be concerned when you tie it all altogether.

Let's go there: if Obama thinks he's losing, will he allow safe and fair elections on November 6? And if he does lose, will he peacefully turn over power to Mitt Romney on January 20, 2013? Or will he cling to power "by any means necessary," as a highly placed insider alleges?

Now, I'm truly sorry to raise such disgusting, un-American, crazy-sounding questions, but, alas, they're not crazy, and I've got a disquieting amount of evidence. The Democrats have already accused Romney of murdering a woman with cancer, financial felonies, and not filing taxes for ten years -- the last charge delivered by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid on the Senate floor, on the basis of absolutely no evidence whatsoever.

By Democrat standards, I've got enough proof to put away Obama, et al. for life without parole.

Whatever chicanery Obama and his investors may be contemplating, it will probably unfold against some gargantuan crisis, manufactured or otherwise. So cast your mind back to September 11, 2001, the day of the New York mayoral primary.

In the chaos after the attacks, Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, who was term-limited from running, pleaded that his leadership was essential and that he should be granted an extra three months in office after his term ran out on January 1. Giuliani's unprecedented power-grab was rightfully scorned by his eventual successor, Michael Bloomberg. So what did Bloomberg do when he ran into term limits? He deployed his multi-billion-dollar fortune to manipulate the law and buy himself a quasi-legal third term, claiming that only he had the expertise to handle the 2008 financial crisis.

My point? Politicians a great deal more conventional than Obama have loathed giving up power, and they have used crises and unethical machinations to try to keep it.

Now, let's look at just some of the disturbing evidence that indicates that Obama and his investors are plotting something big:

Super-High-Level Trial Balloons

USA Today reported that on September 27, 2011, Governor Beverly Perdue, Democrat of North Carolina, told a Rotary Club audience, "I think we ought to suspend, perhaps, elections for Congress for two years and just tell them we won't hold it against them, whatever decisions they make, to just let

them help this country recover[.] ... You want people who don't worry about the next election." When outrage greeted her suggestion, she retreated to the standard defense: she was just joking. What a kidder!

Meanwhile, that same month, Peter Orszag, Obama's former director of the Office of Management and Budget, published an article in The New Republic titled "Too Much of A Good Thing: Why We Need Less Democracy." In it, he posited that the country was too polarized; hence, "radical as it sounds, we need to counter the gridlock of our political institutions by making them a bit less democratic."

Please note that these suggestions to suspend elections and radically reduce democratic control did not come from basement-dwelling bloggers. They came from the governor of the very state in which the Democrats are holding their national convention and from one of Obama's most prominent Cabinet members. Their close timing suggests that these ideas were circulating at the highest levels of the Democrat power elite.

"Whom Does the Government Intend to Shoot?"

That's the question recently posed by retired Major General Jerry Curry in the Daily Caller, in light of horrifying reports that the Social Security Administration is buying 174,000 rounds of hollow-point bullets for distribution to 41 locations in the U.S.

Amanda, we won't be leaving this country better than it was if we don't get the big spender in chief out of the white house. There is no end to the debt he will create and no one seems to be able to stop him. We have to get things headed in the other direction and we need to get everyone working again.............everyone.

Helen, I agree. You might look at the Salvation Army. The folks that run the organization actually get a very modest income and most of the donations are rolled right back in to improving the lives of those they help. I also agree with you. If you think someone won't spend your money wisely, then buying goods and donating them is probably the route to take!

Amanda, Buffett has already paid the higher rate on the money he now has invested and is paying another 13% or so on the income generated by the money he paid taxes on. No one should be double taxed, but we do it. His error as far as his secretary goes is she pays income tax and he pays tax on investment income that has already had full blown taxes paid on it. It is like comparing apples and oranges. We already do enough in this country to discourage investment and saving, and now this president wants to double tax at the same rate for both income and interest that taxed income produces. We need people to save money for their retirement, so I for one, am not in favor of adding additional disincentives. That additional tax also takes the money out of the economy and once again gives it to a group of people who waste billions on foolishness and do not improve much of anything..............they just make it harder for anyone to earn a living or get a job (unless of course it is a government job managing the rules and regulations that hamper private business).

I noticed the "not for profit" vs. non-profit remark but chose to ignore.

My money (wealth I have earned and protect through all the tax code opportunities) is donated to groups I feel use the highest dollar value for the most good.  The first thing I do when deciding is to check the percentage of donations which go to "management"... there are too many nonprofits which pay huge salaries to their directors.  If I donate $100 dollars, I don't want $90 of it to go to overhead.  I will go to the store, purchase $200 dollars of food and drop it off at the foodbank.

Ken has a good point on panhandlers... I always look to see what kind of shoes/sneakers they have on.  If their shoes are newer than mine, or if they have a pack of cigarettes in their shirt pocket...I drive on by...

Except you say nothing. Oh stupid me, I forgot the part where you say I am too dumb to understand. But you fail to say where I am wrong. And of course it is legal to avoid taxes, but not because of the concept of personal property. Because if that were true then I would have the same low obligation. But that isn't true. It is just that the rules favor capital over people. If that capital were fully invested in creating American jobs, then you would find me at the front of the line fighting for a favored rate. But when that wealth is created only for personal gain then it gets taxed at the same rate I pay. Capital moved offshore to tax havens lessens our ability to create industry that provide widespread, sustainable economy. Eliminating taxes for these divestitures ensures weak growth. We have disincentivized capitalization by guaranteeing tax free income that is not being utilized effectively in our economy.
So build your personal wealth as great as you can. But you pay the same as the rest of us.

Guy peddling for coin on the street corner isn't asking for government help. The notioj that I am performing a patriotic service is ridiculous. I do it for pay. Now it isn't rewarded the way an investment banker is rewarded because the market values that job above mine, and many other jobs like mine.
So must we give him huge tax loopholes too, where he can take his millions to a Cayman Island account and evade his responsibility. I am cool that he makes millions performing arbitrage or whatever, but pay up. Because I am willing to do a tough job for much less these people aren't dying in the streets. And Ryans tax plan would mean that there would no income tax on these guys. Now thst is freeloading.
We have the lowest tax rate in sixty years. As a rsult, we can't pay our bills. That is the fact. Not taxed to death, taxed fairly. Warren Buffett pays a lower rate than me. Unfair.

Helen, punish abusers of the system then but to unwind the whole thing makes us less a nation. Maybe richer individually but poorer as a whole. These people are or responsibility. It is our responsibility to educate young people. It is our responsibility to have safe streets. It is our responsibility to build upon fhe nation we were given by merely being born here. Let's leave it better than we got it. That is what good neighbors do. You borrow your neighbor's lawnmower you bring it back clean and full of gas. That is how it goes

Ken, I agree with you.

Amanda, I have and do give of my time, and my money (wealth) in many of the ways you mention.  I am well aware of those who have nothing.  But there are those in this country who make choices to work the system, taking valuable resources from those who truly are in need.  It is that group which are the problem.    But you have to stop the bleeding caused by the leeches, not the true poor.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
