American Thinker: Will Obama Keep Power 'by Any Means Necessary'?

Very scary, but you better read, because I for one have wondered in some nstances.  I know Obama would love to get all those young Mexicans he is giving amnesty to into the polls on November 6.  Although we here in Florida have been making huge strides to clean up voter registers and do require ID, many states like California do not require ID and even encourage people to commit voter fraud just by virtue of the system they use.  There in lies the reason Obama wanted to get rid of the electoral college, so he could just count popular vote which would include all the fraudulent votes from the states who have representatives who support this arrogant dictator in chief and all his far left radical ideas for destroying this country and everything we hold dear.  You might want to pop over to some of the articles this timely piece links to as there is definitely reason to be concerned when you tie it all altogether.

Let's go there: if Obama thinks he's losing, will he allow safe and fair elections on November 6? And if he does lose, will he peacefully turn over power to Mitt Romney on January 20, 2013? Or will he cling to power "by any means necessary," as a highly placed insider alleges?

Now, I'm truly sorry to raise such disgusting, un-American, crazy-sounding questions, but, alas, they're not crazy, and I've got a disquieting amount of evidence. The Democrats have already accused Romney of murdering a woman with cancer, financial felonies, and not filing taxes for ten years -- the last charge delivered by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid on the Senate floor, on the basis of absolutely no evidence whatsoever.

By Democrat standards, I've got enough proof to put away Obama, et al. for life without parole.

Whatever chicanery Obama and his investors may be contemplating, it will probably unfold against some gargantuan crisis, manufactured or otherwise. So cast your mind back to September 11, 2001, the day of the New York mayoral primary.

In the chaos after the attacks, Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, who was term-limited from running, pleaded that his leadership was essential and that he should be granted an extra three months in office after his term ran out on January 1. Giuliani's unprecedented power-grab was rightfully scorned by his eventual successor, Michael Bloomberg. So what did Bloomberg do when he ran into term limits? He deployed his multi-billion-dollar fortune to manipulate the law and buy himself a quasi-legal third term, claiming that only he had the expertise to handle the 2008 financial crisis.

My point? Politicians a great deal more conventional than Obama have loathed giving up power, and they have used crises and unethical machinations to try to keep it.

Now, let's look at just some of the disturbing evidence that indicates that Obama and his investors are plotting something big:

Super-High-Level Trial Balloons

USA Today reported that on September 27, 2011, Governor Beverly Perdue, Democrat of North Carolina, told a Rotary Club audience, "I think we ought to suspend, perhaps, elections for Congress for two years and just tell them we won't hold it against them, whatever decisions they make, to just let

them help this country recover[.] ... You want people who don't worry about the next election." When outrage greeted her suggestion, she retreated to the standard defense: she was just joking. What a kidder!

Meanwhile, that same month, Peter Orszag, Obama's former director of the Office of Management and Budget, published an article in The New Republic titled "Too Much of A Good Thing: Why We Need Less Democracy." In it, he posited that the country was too polarized; hence, "radical as it sounds, we need to counter the gridlock of our political institutions by making them a bit less democratic."

Please note that these suggestions to suspend elections and radically reduce democratic control did not come from basement-dwelling bloggers. They came from the governor of the very state in which the Democrats are holding their national convention and from one of Obama's most prominent Cabinet members. Their close timing suggests that these ideas were circulating at the highest levels of the Democrat power elite.

"Whom Does the Government Intend to Shoot?"

That's the question recently posed by retired Major General Jerry Curry in the Daily Caller, in light of horrifying reports that the Social Security Administration is buying 174,000 rounds of hollow-point bullets for distribution to 41 locations in the U.S.

I am not sure Ken. I know for myself, I have an approach that says NOT OBAMA and right now the only real option for me is Romney. I don't not like the man and heaven knows he is squeaky clean, been married to the same woman forever, has a nice family of well behaved moral children and grandchildren, does not drink, does not smoke, does not gamble, is generous to those in need with both his money and his time, was a very successful business man (and certainly, unlike Obama, I will not hold good business decisions against him..........the free market is about building a successful business and making the kinds of decisions that support having a successful business; sometimes it isn't "fair" to everyone...........and I also don't believe everyone should have a fair share of the fruits of anyone's labors or one should make bad business decisions to be so called "fair"..............we can all see what that does by just looking at the mess Obama has made). Anyway, if there was a single thing Obama could hang Romney with, he would be screaming it from the roof tops.............nada. He wants the income tax returns cause he thinks he can generate something there and do the smoke and mirrors things for all those who aren't knowledgeable enough to see him for what he is. I think before this campaign is over, Romney and Ryan are going to have the Obama administration on the ropes and that is where they should be. That by the way is my personal opinion, and I am not sure how to answer the other part. I don't know about you, but I am a member of the REC and so are many other FCTP members. We in fact comprise about half of the REC members that show up normally..........or at the tipping point :). If you are a republican and live in Duval County, you might consider joining ? And adding to the large number of conservatives that are now members locally........and think there are many in Clay and St Johns as well (again my belief for the other 2 counties). You have to be the majority to effect change, but Lenny Currie (the chair of the REC of Duval is a conservative and a very fine young man with his head definitely screwed on right. I do not believe for a minute that the tea party has lost it's ideals, but I do believe many tea party members have grown and are now actively involved in the beast themselves in various ways, so perhaps the focus has not changed but the means of affecting change has and it isn't quite a visual as it used to be. Does that make sense? I think folks still have the conservative ideals and principles.

Amanda, in a number of ways I agree with what you said.  The republican party of today is well to the left of center and needs to either be brought back or a viable replacement needs to be found.  I think when folks realize what Obama has done and find out the true extent of the damage, the democratic party as it exists today will not longer exist in a meaningful way.  The people of our country are still center right, family oriented, God fearing and hard working.............the democrats are too far afield from anything that passes as the American ideal.  As far as the abortion thing goes, I will not put Akin's words into the mouths of Romney and Ryan.  This is what they feared when they asked Akin to step aside..............that would be unfair totally and in Missouri, Mr. Akin's remarks have already hurt Romney (so they may have been right to ask him to step aside although I disagreed initially............he is from Missouri and represents Missouri voters who tend towards very conservative values).

Ken, you are trying to make decisions made political..............they are not.  We make decisions about the direction of the organization, projects, and countless other things we need a uniform "face" in the city for.  Nothing as ominous as you might think, but certainly my folks know what is going on and I will keep it that way................we don't run a dictatorship.  If you belong to one of the community group or other groups, chances are very good that the leader of your group is part of the leadership council and you might ask about it if you have a concern about anything!

Patricia, many people have a different take. I never thought Paul should run as a Republican, that aas Quixotic on his part. There is no room in the Republican party for libertarians, they are far too conservative for Paul. And they have completely sold out. A strong libertarian party would benefit this country. Republicans have gone off the deep end, legitimate rape. Every Republican candidate for president has said they would restrict access to abortions to rape victims. That is insane. Insane. Insane.

Amanda, they moved it up, because we are about to get slammed with a hurricane..............hopefully, you have gotten you share of bottled water and supplies in the off chance it comes our way?

I sure can Ken or at least I sure can try. I am on the leadership council and represent the Arlington Group. I talk to the folks in my group. I let them know the things we are doing and the things that will get voted on and ask them how they feel about it and how they feel I should vote if an issue comes up. I am basically the "congressman" from district 4 for them. My opinion as stated on the council is the opinion of the group I represent as are the opinions of all the other folks from groups (like the beaches, small business etc). We have a group of other tea party organizations we partner with and although there are small differences of opinions between groups, for some things most tea party members are in agreement..............we do have a mission statement and everyone should read it, understand it, and be sure they agree with it before joining.................. As far as I am concerned, I sincerely do represent the folks in the Arlington group. We have been together now for over 3 years and we are not just the Arlington Group, we are personal friends and do other things together as well. They are a stellar group of folks and we are very activist and active. I would never even consider voting one way or another on something important to them without letting them know it was an issue (unlike our president, I don't believe their opinions are irrelevant..............they are the reason for the organization to start with and something a few of the folks have forgotten about I fear, but I HAVE NOT). I am and have always been a very independent person and have a great propensity for calling a spade a spade as well!

Roma and tom, they have moved the nominations up to monday to quash any kind of ron paul uprising.

Roma, you may have offered to help with Monsanto, but I certainly do not recall it. I will accept that you say you did as it hardly seems worth disputing or further discussion. Monsanto was a worthy subject, and it spurred me to sign up for the newsletters of a couple of organizations that have some skin in the Monsanto game and have remained informed through them, and other updates on the situation.............so I am glad I spent some time looking at the issue.

As far as the FCTP favored this or that, FCTP is not a person and can't favor or not favor anything........it's leaders may (but then, it is their personal opinion and can't be construed as the opinion of all those affiliated with the organization. FCTP includes many people of just as many varying political stances, so to try to put every person who belongs to the organization in the same basket would be an error of large proportions. It is a group of like minded people...........certainly not a group of folks blindly following the lead of one person (or a cult). One of the reasons many people joined FCTP was because they don't follow the pack, are free thinkers, and understand how very bad some of the things our elected officials are doing are for our liberty and our country.............and it is wrong for the people and the country if we are going to continue to be that shining city on the hill and remain free. One has only to read Amanda's posts to understand we don't all agree on politics but instead tend to agree on what should be even if we don't necessarily all agree on the method of getting there or who should lead us out of the abyss. To say we all believe in smaller government, more freedom and less limits on our rights (a return to the actual constitution) might be closer to something you could group everyone into (but let's see if Amanda agrees with that or can put it better). To say if someone belongs to the organization ergo they favor a particular political party would be a huge and inaccurate philosophical leap. I might further point out that longevity with an organization (any organization) has nothing to do with someone having a more appropriate or better stance than say a new member that has just joined would also not be appropriate or accurate (my opinion wholly). I like to think we all, in our own way, do what we can to further an overall general cause based on our overall unique personal beliefs, talents, and time constraints.

As far as the brokered convention you seem to hope for where a candidate who did not win the primaries is trust upon an unsuspecting electorate who did not vote for the person or favor the candidate, I think such a thing would throw our country into political turmoil and most certainly we would see Obama re-elected if people felt the minority was once again deciding for them who they would have as their candidate in lieu of the person who won the primaries fair and square. I understand those who lost may not fee it was fair and square, but lose they did. I would certainly favor the democratic method of choosing our candidate as forcing someone or something on us is the mode used by the very people we want out of government (or at least I thought that was the wish of most who are aware and stay up with what is going on around them).

The tea party was affiliated with Ron Paul and libertarians long before AFP got involved. It is no longer libertarian and has been co-opted by social conservatives who conflate the two.
It is a long way from what Ron Paul initially and organically began. It is what it is. But the fact that there was never any real support for Paul says t all. You don"t have to agree with him to respect his position. But Gary Johnson is the real deal. He still provides a chance to cast a vote that will not volate my cojscience.

RYAN NICHOLS - Hardened Criminal?? Seriously??

If you're not already aware. This is what's going on in DC while dangerous criminals are allowed back out on the streets.  It's horrifying that this is happening to our citizens and veterans for protesting the hijacking of our election process. This is still happening! They are STILL being tortured and treated like full on terrorists.

You may not be aware of the typical things they're forced to go through...…
